At what point did wheels, exhaust, and appearance mods become a "build"? The amount of money people pay for wheels alone can do wonders on an engine or suspension but instead it goes into making slow car look good. How the fuck can someone know how to use rivets for an off-brand bodykit or afford to pay someone else to mount a legit kit and not know basic knowledge of an IC engine?

Batteries do wear out eventually. 150k+ usually, depending on how it was used. But it's no more expensive to replace than a major engine/trans service costs. Like 1500 for a prius or insight battery.

I know the retainers on these like to crack, a simple fix is just to instal AP2 retainers and keepers. These cars are best left alone from the factory but can be upgraded with ease. The transmissions aren't that strong, nor are the rear ends when you apply boost to the mix. I boosted mine a year into owning it and it changed everything.
