Hey/o/, What is the most stoner car you can buy. I started thinking about it, and immediatly realized it is a complex question.

So the car has to be cheap, or maybe should be affordable, probably used

>If you are smoking like a chimney every time you are driving, you want the thing to be low profile.
So it has to be a car that blends in

>If you are getting baked off your ass in far away zip codes you are probably going to spend time in the vehicle while not driving it.
So it has to be comfy

I'm thinking it might be a Jap minivan, What say you?

I'm in the market for a new car. Currently driving a 11 Subaru Impreza OBS 5 Speed, and I've been wanting to move more into performance for cars. Ive grown a liking towards the MK4 GTIs, because they are respectively good cars, and quite cheap.

My budget is $6,000, and I have found quite a bit of well built GTIs (more so the 1.8's) for a great price..that would leave me with at least $1,000 to spend on more upgrades or repairs for the car.

As most know, the 1.8's are 4-cylinder 5 speeds with a turbo, and the VR 6 is 6 cylinder, usually 6 speed, but does not come with a turbo, and is pretty expensive to add a turbo.

I have driven a VR6, and must say it was a beastly car. It pulled hard, and had the meanest sound to it. It had a all around good feel to it.

I have yet to drive a 1.8T, but I like that in comes with a turbo.

Whatever car I end up getting, it will be my daily driver, and I won't really be able to afford maintaining it to its full potential (atleast time wise).

SO TL;DR: What do you think is better? What engine is better for flat city driving? What engine is better for hills? What will have the most potential if I end up dumping a fair amount of money into it?

Any advice or opinion helps. Thanks

I just got my rota grids on 17x9.5 and 17x9 and one of the front wheels is wobbling and bouncing/jumping when I'm driving it

Anyone here familiar with 4L60e's? Whenever the torque converter goes into lockup, my RPMs sink like a rock and no matter how much gas I give the cunt I can't get it above about 1700 and you can hear how badly the engine is struggling by the deep exhaust note. However if I lightly tap the brake enough to engage the brake switch which unlocks the torque converter, my engine shoots up to 2500+ rpm and suddenly runs like a dream. Runs great in every gear until lockup occurs.

/o/ I have this 03 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that my grandpa gave me in november, but its in need of loads of work/repair and I simply don't have the money (college is expensive). Should I just get rid of it? Is it really worth much? If I were to sell it, what could I realistically get for it? What should I do here?

Alright so I fucked up br/o/s.

A couple weeks ago it flooded in Houston, TX 20inches over night.

I drove through high water in my girlfriends car trying to find higher ground as our street was getting worse.

The car stalled out of course, I didn't realize that the intake was from the ground up.

We got it fixed at a shop and continued our vacation.

Now heres the problem.

Apparently the car has begun to leak "lots of oil" -girlfriend. I told her to take it to a shop so they can check if the filter or plug was loose.

It wasn't.

So what could it be? The jiffy lube says it's coming from the side of the motor.

Any ideas?

Why the fuck are car windows shrinking and why are rear windows now the size of a miniature briefcase?

Why is every car trying to look like a singular "whoosh line"? And why is the front ceiling getting closer and closer to my head?

I'm only 6'1 and I feel too big for half of today's cars.

So I had a project car towed off my apartment complex...the car was covered but was registered non operational

Tow guy lifted cover and flagged it for no tags

I told my apartment manager the situation he said no further action would be taken

Next day car gets towed and they want $380 plus 100 to tow my non running car back to me

Its a 1985 celica supra and is worth maybe 600 in its current condition....what do?

They also want 200 of I choose to surrender the title
