Lol I killed the transmission on my toyota 86.
Less than 2 year old car. 44,000 km's but I beat the shit out of that car every single day.
Heads up this is what you can expect. I'm going to get a call from the dealership to see if its under warranty which it should be. I'll play dumb and say I drove it normally.
Any advice? Need confidence that I won't be out of pocket 10,00 for a tranny

Bought a genuine type x kit today, picking it up this weekend. Paint is wrecked but not my colour anyway, needs a crack repaired on drivers side rear pod but apart from that it looks straight.
Planning on fixing up little bits and prepping for paint as a side project. Probably going to keep my origin kit and just run the type x kit when I want to change things up.

i wouldn't buy that car for more than 300 bucks... hell, even if it was a lower price i wouldn't actually want it, i'd just sell the thing off to some 16 year old for like 1500 bucks because they'll love it

Why are most straight and others aimed towards the ground?

How crazy would it be for me to DD something like this?

I don't understand how such a nice car can be so cheap, I'd much rather have one of these than an FR-S or a Mustang.
I only drive about 11k miles a year because I work from home most of the time.
I'm guessing the maintenance on these is insane right? Are they even possible to work on as the owner?

>I'm guessing the maintenance on these is insane right? Are they even possible to work on as the owner?
To buy an expensive car like that you have to be able to afford the maintenance which isn't cheap.
Remember, Maserati's V8 engines are all built by Ferrari.

Found this nice manual Cambiocorsa as well
>>14982563
To keep that car running top-notch, you need to have some deep pockets and be ready to spend more than the car is worth. This isn't some car anyone can wrench on either, it needs to be maintained by someone certified to work on these things. You mind as well set stacks of hundred dollar bills on fire if you have someone who isn't very familiar/certified to work on these things.
I bought a new thing of car wax, but I also recently bought sealer. Should I use sealer first and then wax or the other way around?
>>14982552
Wax then sealer. Or just sealer. Both together are a bit overkill
What's the real difference between wax and sealer? I got a sealer for free with a purchase I made.
bump in hopes this thread survives the night
So I'm thinking about starting a company that's main aim is to take Automatic (high-end (older) ) cars and change them to manual. Obviously other options could be done too like suspension, or body work but the main goal would be to produce & provide a service to people who want to actually drive their machine and fell more at one with it. Just wondering what you guys think of it as an idea?
I was thinking more like older porsches and maybe ferraris as their warranty would probably be out, but I'd love to try it on a modern version like a 458 with a gate shifter or something to that extent.
That's fucking stupid but if you want to manual swap my p71 I'll volunteer.
I know that old manual sports cars usually hold value better than their auto counterparts, but is the difference really large enough to make money swapping them?
>>14982474
The problem is getting people to pay for that kind of work considering that, on average, it's a $3k job
