"She's Electric" is perfect though.

Thought this album catapulted Oasis to superstardom, I think it's not quite as good as the first. In fact it's a patchy affair. My fave tracks are Wonderwall, Some Might Say, WTSMG and Champagne Supernova. That's four good tracks out of 10 (I don't count both Swamp Songs excerpts). I can only imagine how mind blowing this LP would have been, if songs trown away as B-Sides on the precedent singles were on it in the place of all the rest, like Acquiesce. In didn't matter in the end, because the whole world went Oasis crazy, and they became tabloid sellers to the hilt.

I remember the sight of drunks in pubs, spilling beer holding themselves together and singing Wonderwall when it came on the radio in London. I realised by then how big Oasis were becoming... and realised most of these people would turn their back on this band pretty soon too, for them, it was only a kleenex like fad. It marks the time Oasis become big, but also the time they are losing themselves in all the traps of fame. For me, the time it started to go wrong is not Be Here Now, it's WTSMG.

oh shit

God I can't fucking stand Damon's vocals. It seems so uninspired. The auto-tune is annoying, the little guitar glitch in charger is nice, but it's ruined by the beat. Maybe could do better with a more rock/punk style drumming. I hope the album is nothing like these demos.
