t's the 3rd of October
The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and ideally discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily, these people are in it to venture "out of their comfort zone" by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.

>dude the lyrics are WAY more important
>who cares what the chords are as long as the beats tight dog
>>71669251
I find it hard to respect people that find it hard to respect people because of the music they listen to.

What are your suggestions for cleaning up /mu/? The more realistic, the better.
>>71668603
Get rid of the board completely.
>>71668603
here are my proposals
-if an artist has a general, no talk of them outside the general. at all.
-no posting in generals if you're just there to bait and shit
-if an album is used to start a thread, it cannot be used to start a thread again until the other thread dies
-no more bait. do NOT tempt other users into getting mad
-combine all chart threads into one. /chart/ general. this includes billclintonswag threads
-we do NOT need 5 different threads for bandcamp/soundcloud/whatever. that can all be one thread, one at a time
-no spam/bait/shill threads
>>71668709
>-no more bait
That would be incredibly hard to implement moderation-wise. It would be really nice if mods started taking down bait threads though (>>71668109).
I don't like the meme ADHD formats that people use when starting threads, but deleting the bait//pol/bait when it crops up would really help the quality at least.
Is this the first progressive rock album?
