Yeah. Drake has started to fall off.

Sad too. He never really made a classic record like I hoped he would. It always felt like he was on the cusp of greatness, until it didn't.

Holy shit.
I'm here in Australia for the first time in about 25 years, and I've heard nothing but puerile garbage from local "talent" during the entire trip. Is this some "cosmic shitposting" you guys have going on, here? Some kind of inside-joke I'm not getting?
Seriously, every single so-called "band" I've heard, either live or on the radio, sounds like they're holding a latté in one hand and a dildo in the other. I haven't felt this kind of second-hand embarrassment in decades.
What the fuck happened? The Australians I met all those years ago, had giant, brass balls. Now you're all pasty-white with limp wrists, sucking each others' dicks on stage to a 4/4 beat while some eunuch warbles about his manhood being taken away, presumably by the government.
Picture most certainly related - this station used to be cool. God damn it, Australia.
>stop liking what I don't like
so I don't get it. Are you asking for metal recommendations or what?
>>71676651
No. I'm asking why bands like Beasts of Bourbon and Cosmic Psychos are no more, and replaced by this wimpy, festering garbage that lacks testicular fortitude. I also sense that, because you didn't get my original post at all, that you're far too uneducated to answer this one, either.
Shoo shoo, child.

Pub rock is fucking boring too dude
What's /mu/'s thoughts on Sun Kil Moon's latest record?

No wonder there's no board culture here anymore and the traffic is dwindling.
What will be the AOTY for 2017? I'm thinking the new Sun Kil Moon

Pink flamingos ost?
Thoughts?

the best for entry level, IMO. not too much upgrades available, though.
its great, especially if you have the cash. though you can get about the same quality and more features but fixing up an old technics or dual. but that can take some work and if your lazy and have the bread go for it. i also like the u turn orbit which is cheaper but still nice, with even less features then the debut carbon.

I'm a metal head and I completely missed the boat on anything gothic or gaze. But I heard the Cocteau Twins and it opened up my ears, their whole discography is on loop. But I don't know shit about anybody else. I've heard most of the essential bands at least a little bit but I don't know what is like, the undeniable gems I haven't heard. Anybody care to give me some direction? I know I like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Chapterhouse, Type O, etc. HALP O WISE ONES
Also general gothy/post punky recs all songs if you're feeling it
Script of the bridge by the chameleons is one of my favorite albums, check that out. Pretty much proto-goth rock by one of the original postpunk bands.
>>71676353
>Pretty much proto-goth rock
I may beg to differ. Siouxie, Damned, and Christian Death were well around before them. I would argue they were proto-shoegaze.
