Is there anything more embarrassing than rock music thinking it's a serious artform?
hip hop music thinking it's a serious art form

can we all agree that krautrock is not actually rock? it's a win-win situation; rock fans wouldn't have to deal with those posers, and non-rock fans who listen to krautrock don't have to begrudgingly admit they enjoy a form of rock music
So the character for Björk's new album cover is going to be flower themed, right?
And the album art is probably going to be another shot from the Jesse Kanda photoshoot that we haven't seen yet, right?
Probably
>>74364757
I assume so, the new photoshoot is one of my favourite ones she's ever done 2bh
i was hoping she'd go for something lighter and more mystical like this. seems to match woodwinds more imo
ITT: Post your most recent RYM top genres, others guess things about you and give recommendations
I never said the hip hop I rated was experimental, RYM did
And is this based off what we rate or how highly we rate it? Because I don't think I rated hip hop that highly

Wand has a good female singer
But I think it's that they try to have that stereotypical strong black female voice but most of the time they can't pull it off. So it sounds forced and bad.
Because what is good is determined by men.
Other one's dead, so post em here
you know what to do

Here you go
I was reading earlier to ITAOTS while readinh but it's too good and keept distracting me. Same goes for a few albums I've tried out, or some of them have a lot of highs and lows. I need something like Souvlaki that is chill and continous and doesn't change the pace too fast to distract me. Or even some Youtube mixes or Spotify playlists.
Listening*, reading*
Sorry for the mistakes I'm on my phone in web browser and it's pretty autistic.

black eyed peas - the end
Unfortunately, it did not get a 50th anniversary remaster like Sgt. Pepper.
It's often called the best Beatles album but what do you think?
Will you be listening to it today?

>50+ years later and the "Beatles are good" meme still hasn't died yet
Thank God rock music is dying out.
Probably their most tonally and sonically consistent work. Really feels transported to another time with that one, I like to drink lots of coffee and listen to it and focus on it
My dad loves them
They were huge at first but the US touring ban irrevocably damaged their international exposure.
Because they didn't really break America
Why is indie now irrelevant?
it's not. literally the only thing white college kids listen to
