For as much as she must enjoy showing off her latest winter fashions, Rarity must not take too much vacation time this time of year. There's probably no more important season for her business than this one! Whether it's keeping ponies extra bundled up or readying them for some important holiday socials, she surely wouldn't be unavailable to assist! Plus, she can use the traffic to set up the spring line advertisting, too.

Balancing work and social concerns must be tiring, though. Summer's probably more Rarity's yearly break.

When it's cold outside, is it still warm in the clouds? The insulation on homes like Rainbow Dash's must be decent. All that unfiltered sunshine in the day and the high altitudes might make it uncomfortable otherwise. Twilight might be interested in learning the specifics, but then too, maybe it's just common knowledge in Equestria. Pegasi aren't particularly unwelcoming, it's just understandably a bit more difficult for most of the other ponies to get up for a visit.

The Equestria Games committee must have planned a mass cloudwalking contingent if Cloudsdale had been accepted.

The beginning of winter sees Cloudsdale usher in the season around Equestria, but given that the city can't remain in a single spot if snowfall across the country is desired, the weather seems a bit front-loaded from the start. Surely it can't remain at that; use of the cold powder and contact with warm-blooded ponies will undoubtedly wear it down over the weeks. Renewal is in order; Rainbow Dash had a cloud ready to attempt to appease the yak
delegation, so either it's not too difficult to produce off-season or there are reserves maintained. Is it up to the individual weather teams, or does Cloudsdale continue to make passes for months?

It's important to have enough snow for everyone to enjoy!

This winter Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and their families did something quite out of the ordinary for the either of them by celebrating together. Meanwhile, Twilight and Spike were sticking to their tradition, even if it was in another new home (it's been a relatively short time even since they still lived in Canterlot). A bit of the traditional can always be nice to ground a pony and her dragon assistant, but surely she's not spending the whole season cooped up. What could she try this year that's new to her - even if it's just a spin on something familiar? There's always something - or somewhere. How much travel has she even done without prompting? With all the places that fascinate her in books, it seems a little curious she doesn't get out a little more.

Do the Wonderbolts compete amongst themselves often? Just to determine where the members are, relatively speaking, perhaps? Fleetfoot's proven to be a good racer, but Soarin' and Spitfire are also speedy enough that they went in for the relay race at the Equestrian Games. Speed's hardly the only niche, either; tecnical performances and crowd rapport have to be pretty useful measures as well. And during a big show, they've got to work as teams, anyhow. But how to determine who flies when and where?

We've been on the ride for a few years now and lots of autistic shit has happened along the way.

My question to faggots is have you changed as a person since you got on the ride and, if so, was it because of the ride?

Personally when I joined I was like all those other faggots who thought bronies were the special new thing, challenging society and that shit. Then I came to /mlp/ and slowly grew to despise the rest of this shitty fandom.

I'm a lot more confident in myself now than I ever was and I like to think being on the ride helped in that, a little. Made me accept that sometimes you're just into really stupid shit and you shouldn't give a fuck about what others think, but you shouldn't push it in their faces either like an autist.

Why is "not canon" considered a legitimate criticism around here? No, this not a defense of the EqG movies and the idw comics, it's just that "not canon" is usually the first thing someone says about why they're bad. Whether or not you consider them canon is a whole other discussion, all I'm asking is why something not being canon somehow hinders your enjoyment of it?
