I'm 50 episodes in Gundam Seed Destiny. When does it get good?

No, really, sb made a thread saying he/she was 14 eps in GSD and was asking when does it get bad.

Later on(probably) the same person wrote the following:
,,Just finished it. Absolute masterpiece, just like Seed. I don't know why I listened to /m/ again, you told me Wing and ZZ were bad too but they also turned out to be good.

- Athrun's character development was perfect
- Kira was badass as fuck
- Cagalli the only disappointing part, she was a useless crybaby with no sign of the cute, badass tomboy she once briefly was
- Mu came back, badass as fuck, OTP with Murrue
- Shinn was literally never portrayed as MC at all so I don't know why people were complaining about that. Athrun was always the protagonist. Shinn was just a Shadow the Hedgehog tier edgy side character who rightfully got his ass kicked in the end. I'm glad he survived though because he's cute together with Lunamaria
- Seed is better than UC"

Just two more months until the event. Get hype. What are your hopes/expectations for studio and staff? What do you think the format of the new anime might be? It's good to see the original voice actors are returning after a decade.

So why does the unicorn series spoil what the box is in pretty much every intro? Wasn't part of the mystery of the Unicorn OVA trying to figure out what the box was or what it contained? Why did they spoil their own shit?

I love the art and designs to mecha but I haven't seen any anime or played any games involving mecha. What would you recommend to help get me started? Preferably stuff that is easy to gain access to.

How exactly did Combattler add "human drama" to the robot genre? Mazinger Z had plenty of it.

Combattler's characters hardly even interact with each other when they're in the mecha. Like, anyone but the MC is lucky to even get a line in. No one else even has a purpose in being the the mecha.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've always seen the "nose" vents on a Gundam face like it's a mouth, giving the Gundam a frowny face. Is this abnormal at all?
