Start with "My Conquest is the Sea of Stars", one hour prequel to the main OVA

Then "Overture to a New War." extended edition of first two-three episodes.

Then the main 110 episode OVA.

Afterword, the two side story OVAs are good, of varying quality and length, but flesh out the state of the galaxy and our beloved heroes before the start of the show. It also assumes you have watched the main OVA, for the most part.

Golden Wings is like, whenever you want to watch it, man.

Couldn't the difference in quality between old Gamera and newer Gamera be taken advantage of as far as marketing goes? Just put a really shitty old-school Gamera scene that looks like adults playing with bootleg toys next to one of the super-atmospheric non-CG scenes from the Iris movie or the Gyaos face explosion from the new trailer.

That's actually a big part of why I find the 90s Gamera so interesting, the way they took the crappy bootleg Godzilla that everyone laughed at and actually did an arguably better job than the Godzilla films from that era.

If it counts, the Demonbane VN gets fucking relentless with action scenes in the second half. Just one after the other with what few breaks there are being very short. You'll almost start to beg it to slow the fuck down as you're reading; that shit gets monotonous after awhile.

Sins is best enjoyed watching a few episodes and giving a pause because the whole thing really depressive since even the original Casshern wasn't exactly happy stuff.
