Thoughts?
he looks like he's putting on weight
does it just say "i hate niggers" over and over again?
Why does famous YA author and vlogger John Green "hate niggers" so much, in his own words?
>>9983775
he looks like his eyes are trying to escape from the rest of his face, which is desperately straining to keep them in place

Why should I bother cleaning my room/desk when it organically revolves to the previous state?

What's the best way to go through an author's short stories? Should you just go through them all in one go, or finish one, read something else, and come back to another story later?
I doubt Kafka composed his stories to be read in any particular order.
I prefer to read them in chronological order so you can see how the author's style and interests develop over time.

This.
It was pretty interesting with Lovecraft.
How did he write a hardcore sex scene between a bunch of 11 year old boys and a pre-teen girl and get away with it?
muh shock value, the postmodern literary elites eat this shit up because they can pretend they're daring by parroting shit that was already done 100 years ago.

IT is really the only thing King has written with genuine depth.
He is a modern Vladimir Nabokov
write a story

Try Kevin McDonald's Culture of Critique Series.

There's that voice in my head again; I'll try my best to ignore him this time.
Does anyone have a True Friend, if so, how did you find this person and how has this person's friendship helped you?
Found both my true friends in highschool and the fires of kinship burn only brighter as the years pass
I had a true friend
He was black
and stole my jeans
Now we only wave to each other
Sometimes I see him wearing my jeans he stole
I dont mention anything
It angers me but I just wave and walk on
>>10001881
What jeans were they and I'll let you know if it was worth ruining a friendship.
What do you think about this guy's books?
comfy hat desu
charlatan rolls royce faux spirituality
All these gurus talk about the ego and how terrible it is.
Can someone explain wtf they mean by ego and why the fuck is it bad?
Is it worth reading?
nah

Culture of Critique. Try it.
Thank me later
>>10001544
Meh. It's not worth spending your money on, if that's what you're really wanting to know. Only worth owning as some sort of novelty item I guess, if being that far right is your thing. You can find it online for free, but mind you the writing itself - solely from a literary standpoint, with no regard to the message(s) of the book - is really bad.
>white people are so racist it caused global warming
Really activates your kidneys
>be cold as fuck
>think about how much i hate niggers
>blood starts boiling
>air around me heats up like the corona of the sun
>apartment warms up by 4 or 5 degrees
>repeat as necessary
For all the praise it got, I cannot imagine anyone caring about that book in a few years.

Don't lie. People don't give a shit about it now. They just pretend to.
I find farming to be quite comfy.

>cultural hegemony
so this is what people are talking about when they refer to cultural marxism, right? an attempt to estabilish a pro-revolutionary cultural hegemony, as outlined by Gramsci
Yes but also the Frankfurt School's movement toward a critique of Enlightenment rationalism accelerated by capitalism
The important thing is a rejection of economism
>>10001057
Gramsci was a conservative intellectual, so the answer to your question is negative. He had in mind classical criterias for high culture, he was thinking about a Marxist Petrarca, rather than a fat pink-haired people screaming incoherent slogans in the streets.
>>10001074
The same applies to Frankfurters, who were pretty much all devoted to classical German music above everything else.
These sort of cultural critiques were not coming from a place of ignorance, nor did they want to lead us there.
>>10001121
try the redpill. Or just read Culture of Critique to see white truth
Are there many good books pumped out by politicians anymore? Are they all ghost-written pulp?
i can't believe she admits to this shit, and even worse seems proud of it?
how hasn't she been arrested? i mean that's literally cold blooded murder

Of course

Better for what? Why do frogmen always ask these inane questions
The latter

For you.
Well /lit/, I did it. I wrote a book about my fucked up life and gave it to a billionaire in book distribution to take a gander at.
I
have borderline personality disorder. psych wards, electroshock, drug trafficking, all that jazz. It's been fucking rough.
Who knows what'll happen now. Can't believe I went all the way with it, even though it's been all I've worked on the last 2 years.

No thanks, doc.
