What Social Airplane Justice Warriors want you to think is attractive.
>intentionally place Nukes in Europe as close to USSR as possible
>autistically screech and cry when USSR do the same with Cuba, which is just a minor base.
???
>>34722671
Had it been the other way around, the USSR would "autistically screech and cry" aswell.
because the US were the good guys
>>34722671
JFK fucked up the Bay of Pigs invasion, if he wasn't such a fucking pussy Cuba would have been dealt with immediately and harshly, rendering another Cuban Missile Crisis irrelevant.
Why does every veteran I know shit on Multicam? Looks effective in arid environments and patchy dirt areas.
>>34722649
It's pretty solid in Michigan in the winter, too. Yeah, I thought it was incredible when it first came out but for some reason now I almost hate it as much as ACU. Must be the dysfunctional organizations it's associated with
Unpopular opinion
>>34722649
I don't know any veterans that shit on multicam. But because it's an extremely effective camo in widespread use, it's cool to hate on it.
Someone help me understand the point of PDWs
>>34722636
To defend your person with a weapon.
>It's in the name, anon..
Kind of like how i'd expect a 220 HP boat to be a boat that has 220 HP.
>>34722642
No, I mean, why the redundant nature? If you can own a PDW, why not own a full sized rifle?
>>34722636
the name just describe it
>personal defense weapons
they are supposed to be "last resort options" against close ranged ennemies
whats the history behind soldiers carrying pets into frontlines of battlefields like pic related? i seen US soldiers in pictures carrying kittens or dogs in Afghanistan in their pouches or uniforms and even a crow at one point but cant find the actual pic
can someone plz explain?
>>34722389
Protip:War is stressful as fuck, and having a soft cuddly buddy who loves you unconditionally and snuggles up when you sleep works wonders to relieve stress. And officers are smart enough to ignore orders to get rid of them.
>>34722408
yeah but in the heat of battle? i could imagine the ride that the dog/kitty would get
>>34722389
No personal pets. Sometimes a base mut was allowed. Stories from ww2 where a cook kept feeding a dog so it stuck around.
In duh Marines they promoted the base generals bulldog to Corporal when I was a recruit in boot camp.
>A dog outranks you and is a NCO
Don't even get me fucking started. On our FOB we had a dog and command ordered it shot.
>intentionally destroy whole Warsaw
>autistically screech and cry when allies do the same to Dresden, which is just a minor town.
???
>>34722330
I approve of this new style of werahboo baiting
>>34722330
fighting soldiers vs bombing civilians in cellars
gee i wonder who could be behind this post
Alright /k/ I need some help choosing a good first handgun. I'm looking for a 9mm for HD/carry, but the catch is that I'm a poorfag so I can't get any of the really good brands. I was thinking of getting the Ruger SR9E (pic related) but I'm not really sure if it's what I really want. Any other ideas or is that probably the best option?
>>34722139
Ruger american pistol, walther ppq or cz p10 would all be better choices.
>>34722139
A shield 9mm musket.
>>34722169
This really.

What the fuck is wrong with FN?
>Hey guys you know what the market really needs?
>Not one, but two more overpriced ARs, and this time make them calicucked!
Yeah! How dare a business provide a product that I don't care for!
The Hera stock is basically a stock+grip.
Those californians better NOT replace it with regular buttstock and grip, or they will surely be felons!
How the fuck do you hold that gun? Are Californians only allowed to own guns if they cant use their thumbs to hold them?
Is dry fire safe? I know it won't damage the gun, but what if you forget to unload the gun? I've heard some say that you should dry fire every day for practice, and I've heard some say you should only do it behind a clearing bucket.
>>34721843
>but what if you forget to unload the gun?
Don't forget to unload the gun.
>>34721843
>forget to unload
Then you deserve an ND
>>34721846
>>34721851
You can remember to unload it 99.9999% of the time, but that will be little comfort when you forget that one in a million time.
What is a good caliber for starting weapons?
Im buying my first pistol this week. Im thinking of getting pic related

Kel-Tec has garbage tier quality control. You might get a reliable gun that won't fall apart in your hands as you shoot it...you might not. If you look at any Kel-Tec forum and just glance at some of the topics people who own these pistols talk about, it is not encouraging.
If you want a special snowflake high cap handgun, get a Five-Seven. If you want something decent, get a Glock 19 or 17.
>>34721622
Best round for first time gun owner in handgun is 9mm
>>34721622
If it isn't going to be your only pistol then go for it. It's more of a range toy than anything but it will probably be a good tool to learn shooting on due to minimal recoil.
>>34721829
Only if he isn't going to buy anything else.
Politics aside, you have to admit it is impressive Croatia came up with such a reliable and effective pistol.
I wish we could just buy those instead of that Springfield GRIP ZONE garbage
>>34721563
just get and older one, they're nearly identical to the hs2000
>>34721563
Springcuck still sells the old model.
ITT Post things that make you mad or trigger you
>Lol, anon now I know where to go when the zombie apocalypse happens
>The 2nd Amendment is for hunting only
>You want to get Pistol Brand X? Dude just get a Glock
life
>>34721443
if you let those things get you down you've got some growing up to do
>>34721464
Nope, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't have pet peeves.
How tight should I grip a handgun when shooting?
white knuckle or you're a fag
As hard as you can without hurting yourself. It's a gun and it's gonna kick. Fight it so you can focus on shooting, not recovering from recoil.
relaxed but enough grip that it doesn't fly out of your hands. a deathgrip will just make the gun shake
i wanted /k/s collective opinion on something.
to start off, i'm not a gun enthusiast/collector and my hobbies don't consist of shooting, but i've decided to purchase a handgun and take a handgun course and obtain a ccw for personal and home protection.
with that said, I was also thinking about purchasing a semi automatic rifle, something like an ar15, but I can't justify spending the money on one because I don't really see the use in one if i own a handgun.
a lot of people have ideas of prepping for "doomsday" or a collapse in society justifying the need for a semi auto rifle, but i'm having trouble deciding.
if i own a handgun, do you think i would really need a semi auto rifle as well?
>>34721426
The only advantage of a handgun is that it can be carried outside the house. Rifles are much deadlier. If you are seriously going to carry a gun every day, get a handgun. If you just want one for the house, get a rifle.
You should always have at least one handgun and one rifle.
Even if you don't ever use the rifle, its better to have one than not.
I use my handguns for home defense and ccw but I also keep a loaded rifle by the bed Incase it's necessary.
I don't expect to get broken into, but at least I'm prepared.
A rifle is easier to shoot under stress and vastly more powerful.
Since the ATF stated recently that shouldering pistol braces is A-OK (as if they had any feasible way to enforce a law against doing so in the first place) I was wondering if these things happen to be good makeshift stocks? I'm considering picking up a CZ Scorpion Evo in 9mm, and my options are to either get it in the carbine form or buy the pistol + pistol brace and shoulder it. Since it is a pistol caliber it shouldn't have too much recoil and in theory should work decently, right?
PS: your doggos will get to live another day ONLY if you use/shoulder an SB Tactical brace since those are the ones with approval.
>>34721314
I'm kinda triggered that YouTubers and others don't use the brace properly. If I ever get a rifle caliber pistol I'm only going to use the brace the way it was meant to be.
>>34721324
I'm kinda slow, by "properly" are you sarcastically implying that it should be fired from the shoulder? If yes then I agree, can't seem to find any videos of it being shoulder fired which makes it tough to say if I should buy one or not
