Besides the price is this a meme? I'm gonna have to sell like half of my guns just to to buy one
Kel-tec sub2000 looks faggy, any alternative cheaper 9mm carbines?
>>34717233
Man your collection must be fucking shit. A CZ Scorpion is only like $750, that's nothing.
>>34717233
Cheaper? Hi point.
AR9 is a little more expensive but depending on the build, a much more solid platform.
hipoint carbine isnt a bad suggestion. PCCs are fun, especially if youre shooting steel and despite its homely looks and less than stellar reputation, the HP carbine is a decent poorfag choice.
alternatively: beretta storm, jusr right carbine, used marlin camp carbine, or a 9mm AR
Has anyone ever done this and made a profit? Some old 22 can be pretty cheap.

god i love american capitalism and ingenuity
>>34717121
Zip guns are even cheaper. Some pipe, endcap, nail, and some wood.
These buybacks happen all the time in LA and surrounding areas. One guy apparently bought a bunch of flare guns and starter pistols and traded them in in the nineties, but the cops are wise to it ever since then
>In 1987, several M-1978s were supplied to Iran, and used during the Iran–Iraq War. When using rocket-assisted projectiles, a range of almost 60 kilometres (37 mi) could be achieved, making the weapon the world's longest-ranged field artillery piece at the time. Iranian forces used them to carry out long-range harassment fire against Kuwaiti oil fields.[4]
>A number of the Iranian guns were subsequently captured by the Iraqis and placed on public display. At least one of these was recovered by US Marines in 2008 from the campus of the University of Anbar.[5]

"recovered" my ass
literally took away the country's memory of one of their past wars
i thought burgers didn't loot and destroy the history of the countries that they invaded
pic related, the process of stealing the historical monument of one of the worst wars which iraq had from the campus of the university of anbar

Get over it.

They weren't really looking after it very well, were they? Further proof that arabs can't be responsible for anything.
It's still just as pertinent a reminder of history wherever it is now, it's just that actual humans are looking after it now.
What is the best carry revolver?
> No semis allowed.
I don't care that you don't like the limited capacity of a revolver, that's fine. I just want to talk about carry revolvers
Probably a worked over smitty. Stainless ftw if you can stand lugging around the extra weight. SP101 3" worked over by Gemini would be up there too. LCR if poorfag
>>34716595
any thing taurus is a good revolver to get. they is the best revolver for the money and always have been.
Ruger LCR for that SAWC
As a 23y/o 5'9" 150lb DYEL with only a high school education is it possible to get a security job?
What kind of job would it be? Would I be allowed to carry?
>>34716447
Get the licensing and start putting out, and you'll be fine. You need to be 21 to qualify for some licenses, if I recall right, seeing as those positions'll issue you a sidearm or allow you to use your own.
>>34716447
i have a part time job doing bounty hunter work. its better then wearing a cheap uniform that dont fit and not making any money. i get to chase people and cuff them up before taking them to jail.
>>34716447
Use the catalog next time because there's already a security thread AND
>>34716511
Your threads fucked right out of the gate
The centennial is today and I didn't see a thread. That's shameful

Tell me what you think.
First one is moly grease(it's a glossy dense black grease, bought it in a tube from some automotive company online) and wd40 specialist long term anti corrosion
hexagonal boron nitride And lithium grease(read it on a forum somewhere, apparently moly grease under high temps produces an abrasive oxide and this is better.
Same as last mixture except add the wd40 anti corrosion stuff.
The reason for the wd40 anti corrosion is to help with rust in high humidity environments. It's also quite slick.
>>34716185
Wd40 isn't good for anti corrosion
>>34716185
Jesus Christ, people are stupid.
Molybdenum disulfide is for high load and relative motion surfaces like hypoid gears. The sliding surfaces on firearms are not high load.
High temperature for lubricants is several hundred degrees for extended periods. Firearms parts, even operating fully automatic, do not generated the loads nor temperatures that would need these types of lubricants.
>>34716185
I use Motorkote in my guns and my car every few oil changes.
Stays wet for a long time
Serious question. If shot placement, not caliber, is what determines lethality, why not use FMJ ammo? I'm not trying to start another caliber war. I just want insight into the matter.
>>34715999
Hollow points help prevent overpenetration.
>>34716043
Yes, but then you risk under penetration. Also, would a bullet really be going fast enough after passing through a person to hurt another person on the other side? I'm honestly not sure if that's true or just a myth.
>>34716059
I find it's best to carry three handguns, one loaded with FMJ, one with hollow points, and one with blanks. I have spent many threads arguing about what works best, and came to realize that everything has its time and place. I am never not prepared.
Are there any major flaws to this gun I should know about before buying one? It seems like the perfect solution to all my problems, designed from best milsurp + uses cheapest ammo

poo in the loo
>>34715977
One flaw in all No.1 Lee Enfield derivatives is that their sights are mediocre.
Other than that minor issue, they're pretty sweet.
>>34715977
The paint sucks. The bolt throw is different from most bolt actions so you have to be mindful about not trying to beat it to 90*
I'm not sure if it can handle .308 pressure loadings
Why is this piece of shit 8.6lbs unloaded?
Where are you getting that number?
>>34715953
To prevent armlets from wielding them.
>>34715980
Post your Comblock sniper rifles.
well, it's Russian, and a very good shot, so...
Rearsenalled nugget with a PU setup
>>34716426
how much did this run you if I may ask. I've always wanted a PU nugget but they are like 1000+ and not getting any cheaper.
Just ordered one of these. Did I fuck up /k/?
I've been wanting one of these for a while but i'm now discovering all of these complaints about how people don't like the bulk of the weight being carried so far away from their body etc.
Does anyone carry a G4 Operator as their bag? I'm considering getting the gossamer frame to go along with it.
I've seen that people either love it or hate it.
>>34715562
I've got an Eberlestock McMillan, which is similar.
I like mine, only complaint is the bag itself is pretty heavy.
>>34715562
Id imagine if you have a rifle in there the balance will be fine. Without a rifle and the pack being full I could see how the balance would be totally off.
I've held my old man's G19 and I like the feel of it. I'd prefer to have something a little less, I don't know how to put it, monotone? It just seems kinda bland, and the blocky aesthetics are pretty gay too.
I'm interested in Sig and CZ, but open to others also. I want a classy gun so preferably something I can put a wood grip on. What should I buy?
And yes a $310.49 Glock is off the table before anyone asks

Glocks are for niggers and overweight ex-police/military though

Cz p10c, even fits a lot of Glock 19 holsters.
Are there any benefits or at least cool things to owning a gun if you cant use it legally?
I live in a 3rd world shithole where guns are illegal and self defense is very limited but I met this drug dealer and he says he can sell me a gun
Now ive always liked guns so i got excited and wanted to buy it from him, but then i got to thinking, what the fuck can i even do with it? I cant defend myself with it or ill go to jail, theres obviously no gun training places in my country so it seems like the only things i can do is go out in the empty countryside and shoot it there where nobody can see me. Or be a nutjob and shoot random people at night from my car
>>34715442
Better to have it than to not have it. Just in case.
>>34715442
would you rather go to jail or be alive?
>>34715442
>3rd world shithole
All the reason you need, mong.
It's far better a ugly trial than a beautiful funeral
Help me /k/. Best day/night sights for glock?
XS tritium or nothing
>>34715400
Stock because Perfection™ :^)
I have some of the mepro or whatever the fuck the factory night sights are. It's on a babby glock used for cc so they don't really matter anyway.
They are ok.
If you are going for target shooting a fiber optic front or maybe those ones with the upwards pointing arrow on the rear sight might be the way to go, though I personally have never fucked with them.
RMR, hands down. Save your money, the gen 2 version will knock the first gen down to ~350 soon
