So I went to the range today and tried to use my K31. Already fired before so it's fine. But this time the bolt got stuck without able to close on the last half millimeter or so to fully turn the bolt and now won't move either way, just shifts slightly and that's about it.
So before I end up doing something really stupid to my K31, I'd like to ask on how to get the bolt unstuck and get the chambered round out.
Damn anon, you fucked up
>>29239143
I just need to figure out what happened. Fired perfectly fine before.
>>29239084
have you tried turning it off and on again?
Open carrying on a first date. Anyone ever had any trouble oc'ing in public before? Any angry soccer moms say anything to you?
>OC'ing on a first date
unless you met her at the fucking range, you realize she's going to run away immediately right?
As for if you get into any trouble, friendorfoe.us has reviews from other OC autists like you.
You would be better off wearing a shirt that says..."I have herpes"
>>29239012
Doubt she will think youre cool if you OC
I have a new, if unconventional, battle buddy. What should I name him? Because I am a non-creative POS.
Also, to keep it at least a little bit related, stories of battle buddies past? I have none.
>>29238738
Name him Gimpy the Weird-Footed Lizard.
Alternatively, Steve.
Mr. Snek
>>29238756
>Alternatively, Steve.
Is this a meme?
My girlfriend keeps asking if we can buy weird pets and name them Steve.
What the hell are these bracelets the Secret Service wears?
They also seem to carry a lot of things attached to their belts.

/k/, Could you explain how a company gets away with milling a steel pipe. Attaching a stock, trigger mechanism, and bolt. And then selling it for $2000.
How big are the margins on these things?
Does the government tax percentage based upon the diameter of the steel pipe?
I found one at my local Sports store for atleast $3000
Here's the advertisement for it.

>>29238244
Because there are people out there who buy gimmicks like this.
They get away with it because they know they can.
I used to work at a retail gun store where we often had at least one of these in stock. IIRC, we priced it at about $1500 and managed to get about a 8-10 percent profit margin, which was the average markup for the vast majority of our firearm SKUs.

Why did the F-86 absolutely shit on the MiG-15 when they were so similar in capabilities on paper?
What advantage was so tremendous that they could pull off a 10-to-1 or even 11-to-1 kill ratio in Korea?
If the planes are close the equals then the only factor is the pilot, for which US pilots had superior training.
>>29238100
Pilot training? There was a YouTube video that compiled the top ten best planes of all time or some shit that actually explained it, but I can't be arsed atm.
Pilot training.
To this day Russian fighters have similar capabilities to our own, however our pilots put in more flight training hours per week than slavs put in an entire year.
Of course that's to be expected when your nation's currency got sanctioned into a 250% drop and you couldn't spend more on defense if the sky rained gold and oil.
So /k/, when is this bloated, useless, overspending piece of memeshit going to get disbanded and airpower relegated to the Navy and Marines like a sensible military?
>>29238044
Is this bait? Because if it is, you have to tell me.
>>29238044
So /k/, when is this bloated, useless, overspending piece of memeshit going to get disbanded and ground power relegated to the Army like a sensible military

Never. They have the icbm's and strategic bombers in there hands.

Hey /k/ I'm going on a spook trip in Alabama to a place called Ghost Town (I know really creative) and there is a high chance of methheads and satanists (sacrificial stone altar in the middle of town) and I need to know if buckshot loaded in 12 ga shotgun exactly like the one in the picture would be enough to defend myself? Friend will have .38 on him and his AR 15 also.
>>29237719
>high possibility of group ambush
>bringing 2-4 shot long barreled hunting shotgun
>not AR15
>not even poorfag special WASR or SKS with 30 round mag
>>29237764
Safety in numbers anon. I'll also have a .44 on me
>>29237719
>satanists with a sacrificial stone altar
>in the fucking middle of town
how the hell have they not been shut down?
Hello /k/ommandos, in a couple of months, I will be moving out of my parents' house and into an apartment with my fiance. My fiance's family and some of my friends have been telling me to get a gun for the house, and after some thinking I have come to agree.
I'm a huge russaboo, I have a hard-on for Soviet era items, and I have done target practice with a Mosin Nagant in the past. I'm currently looking into getting a Makarov. Thoughts and suggestions? My backup gunfu is the 1911. Tell me what you guys have for home defense, what I should be looking at, and if I'm being a little ridiculous.
>>29237361
Oh, and I left out that I know what Glocks are. I've fired Glocks, I know they are reliable, but I am not the biggest fan. I am honestly completely turned off by their aesthetics.
Either is fine but don't be a fucking retard who thinks that you can shoot .380 or 9x19 in the Mak
Personally, I prefer the 1911 because 9x18 is pretty anemic and you have a lot more options for 1911s and 1911 accessories and gear
>>29237381
Thanks. I was a little confused while looking for Maks for sale. People were listing them as .380, but I was pretty certain they were only 9x18.
Are airguns the next advancement in guns? The bulldog .357 can shoot a .357 caliber pellet to speeds of up to 800 fps. Thats damn near close to a bullet. It holds 10 shots in its tank and can be refilled super easy if you can a spare tank. With a little more development and advancement I could see these things being really cool
Heres a Fudd hunting some deer with one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i85HCdNErs
No. Airguns will always be niche.
>>29237385
Even if they develop to shoot bullets at speeds that rifles do?
What's up with oper8ers and baseball caps?
>>29237187
>Comfy
>Practical
>Looks cool
>Normal soldiers aren't allowed to do it, so it's a special "fuck you" to uniform regulation autists.
From my experience operating.
>Light
>Keeps sun out of eye
>Boonie caps have fallen out of favor for whatever reason, I got made fun of when I brought when out to a op as a new guy
>keeps hair from blowing around (Because if you don't have cool long hair what's the point?)
Keeps the sun out of their eyes. The same reason everyone else wears them really. The only reason they are associated with operators is because everyone else has to wear a cover or helmet or whatever.
So what's the katana of guns?
