We are now bringing those in this year (for tests) so we can have a capability a lot quicker than the five-year timeframe. Our goal is to have capability in two years.”
Looks like America will adopt Trophy after all.

Honestly, not a great first gun. Get a standard AR15 that takes 5.56, learn the platform, ammo is cheaper, easier to modify (AR10s are all over the board in terms of parts compatibility), etc.

That being said, akms do not need a 90 degree block. There is no advantage.

Also picked up some caps, wads, a cabelas pistol cleaning aluminum handle thing with rod, triple 7 and 454 balls.
Also picked up a starter kit from cabelas.
How do I go about preparing to shoot this beauty sat/sunday?
More importantly how do I clean it effectively?
Do I need to take this shit down every time I clean it? I am worried about fucking up the screws.
I have spray ballistol but not the normal kind people combine with water.
What process do you guys use?
How high should I fell my powder horn full of powder? How many grains should I use of 777 fffg?

Hell, 22 is enough but it's not the best. If find the biggest bullet you can. Its your suicide op, don't cheap out. Find a nice 12 ga and load it with buckshot or slugs. Or if you want to live it up, buy one of those reenactor cannons and light the fuse while looking down the business end. The aren't considered guns too.
