I just got my BCM upper in the mail and noticed some bolt wear before I have ever put a round through it. Anyone notice this before on theirs?
>>29429281
y'know the part where they say their bolts are high pressure tested?
how do you think they do that?

I was thinking the same, but that's super excessive... That doesn't look right... Like a lot of primer gas cutting over time not right...

Looks nice, how is the bore?
If the modern military doctrine is suppressive fire until you call in artillery or an air strike, why don't soldiers carry M249s?
>>29429096
soldiers do carry M249s
>>29429096
Why not P90s?

What is the survival percentage rate for jumping on a grenade?
>>29428996
depends on where you land in relation to the grenade and the terrain maybe, just maybe theres a chance you'll survive
Depends. Did someone pull the pin?
About 100% if the pin's still in it.
Hey /k/, this piece just fell out of my M&P 40, and I can't seem to figure out what it is and where it goes. Any help? .40 round for scale.
>>29428505
Looks like some kind of washer or shim. It probably needs to go back in, but it doesn't look broken. Good luck trying to find where it came from.
I've got an m&p 9 and I haven't seen anything like that in my gun, I also had it apart to do a trigger job a while back. Only thing I could see that going on would be the takedown lever to keep it from falling out the side? Mine used a little spring thing to keep it in, but maybe they're different.
thats an e-clip for a trigger pin.
Haven't seen anyone talk about this yet so, what does /k/ think about Tarkov?

I don't know

Yes, get the ambi safety delete, and the yeti wurks grip is pretty nice
If I were you, I'd wait until the 2016 version starts selling, it give you a QD mount up front, and replaces the rails with m-lok cuts.
Other than that, I love the thing, I'll send in my SBR paperwork as soon as my tax return is direct deposited.
>soldiers: fight on land
>dictionary definition of a "soldier" is someone who fights in a land-based armed force
>"Marines": fight on land
>"Don't you dare call me a soldier! I'm a Marine!"
What the fuck? Yeah I get it your DIs brainwashed you into thinking you're a special snowflake and so different from the Armyâ„¢, but why get this autistic about this terminology when both roles are nearly identical? They are effectively soldiers who fight on land, where's the shame in saying that? To me "soldier" is just another generic term like "fighter" or "warrior". And it makes it so awkward to refer to all land-based troops with one term. "Troop" sounds retarded and it doesn't refer to one individual.
It's called Esprti de Corps
Maybe if your shitty service had some you'd understand that soldier.
I hate it when they do that as well. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything when I call them a solider. No need to get all pissy
Thank you for your service btw

Still one of the best games I have ever played.
Also Marines used to fight on ships but now they don't who gives a fuck you ain't gonna change shit. Go to bed.
Why does the term assault rifle trigger /k/ and /pol? Is it because it came from video games? Or is there some sekrit-club elitist term that should be used?
pic sorta related
>>29428246
For the small chance that you're not a troll:
An assault rifle is by definition a weapon that fires an intermediate-size cartridge and is capable of firing in either semi-automatic or fully automatic.
It's not a scurry black rifle that just so happens to look like one used in the military.
We're fine with the term if you use it correctly. When you call things assault rifles that aren't, particularly if you are an antigun faggot talking about bans, we wish you would die.
>>29428271
>It's not a scurry black rifle that just so happens to look like one used in the military.
Exactly. The AR-15s on the market are not designed for "assault".
So instead, people started attacking "assault-style" rifles. Incapable of attacking the weapon's characteristics relevant to "assault" rationally, they started attacking the "style".
Here's the deal /k/
Just gonna post the screenshot
So my question is, should I /k/?

it's a collector item i think, but, they have hexagonal receiver and everyone told me that you shouldn't shoot with those types of mosins
why ? i still don't know, but i certainly think it's because of worn barrel and probably other part that might broke inside too
Why is this gun impossible to find?
>>29427927
Because you don't live in the states
it's matte black, and therefore hard to spot
>>29427927
Because you don't order online like a normal person
So how is this Russian cruise missile undetectable by radar? Besides that it fueled by liquid kerosene. And possibly flies at low altitude.
>>29427702
I dunno, has it been fired at any modern NATO warships? Like Aegis or PAAMS?
>>29427702
Probably can't be detected by shitty Russian radar. Even my low powered bullshit detector picks it up from 10000 miles away.
>>29427740
If it would been shot at shit with aegis, you seen it on wiki by sunk ship list
