Self-defense gone wrong videos thread:
/k/ shares tips on self-defense shooting so you don't accidentally put yourself in jail like this Pharmacist.

How about "no executions" (?).
>>30104541
Fucking niggers. Should've given this guy a medal.
>>30104541
Our justice system is fucked. The little nigglet that died lost his right to life when he first attempted to murder the pharmacist. This man should be praised as a hero, not prosecuted.
Is this a good idea, /k/?
>>30104506
Are those mortar shells converted into RPG rounds?
>>30104580
It looks like they cut RPG rounds in half and put the rocket motor onto mortar shells.
>>30104506
Eh, I've seen Rebels and Ukrainians use them but I don't see what's wrong with them.
Hello /k/ do you guys know any good visual novels or novels in general about war, apocalypse or something like that im looking for some new reading material since im going on a long ass trip
Shooter by Jack Coughlin
>>30104502
Where do i find it
Anything by Robert Heinlein. Starship Troopers in particular is good.
The movie sucked ass.
/k/ I'm looking for a .22 pistol to plink with. I'm short on cash and want to make it a bit cheaper to shoot.
I'm looking at pic related as an option. Bud's guns has them for 130$ and with an FFL transfer that's around $160 which is about the cheapest option. I've also looked at the Buckmarks, Ruger Sr22, Beretta u22 Neos, and others. I could save up and buy something like the ruger but it will be a while before I can get it and I'm still looking at about $330 for that.
Halp me /k/. Should I buy the cheap wheel gun or save up for a superior semi auto?
Bonus: My girlfriend is left-handed and shoots with me. The Sr22 felt nice in my hand, is compact enough to be a glovebox gun, and has ambidextrous safeties so my gf can shoot. So I'm leaning towards saving up but I don't know much about any of these.
sr22 slide is made of cheap aluminum, and the steel slide lock over time eats away at thr slide and it stops working.
literally had to throw mine away. get a wheel gun instead imo
>>30104457
What about the beretta? Or a S&W?
>>30104457
roughriders have shitty longevity too since the frame is some alloy bullshit
dont get me wrong you will certainly get 150 dollars of use from it but by 10-15k mark its worn out and will shoot loose constantly
fun as fuck though
if you want something fun that will last like 5 years roughriders adequate. if you want something to pass down buy a single six or single 10
buy the version with real sights
What if the atomic bomb was never developed by the US, or it was delayed? How would Operation Downfall realistically play out?

Any grander insights for us?
Japan never wanted war in the first place and would have been willing to admit defeat at basically any point
The post war agenda was for a duo-polar world however, and so they have to drag wars out and destroy germany/japan/china/whatever
Would Cheerio dust make a good explosive?
Under the right circumstances, dust explosions are a bitch.
Get some coffeemate and try that shit out for yourself.
It's the new big show, Breakfast with ISIS
>>30104310
fuck I used to eat coffemate with a spoon
Found my old drawing book from when I was a kid, figured I'd post some because why not? I look into the mind of a /k/ child.
Illinoisfag here and I just got my FOID card and can now legally buy guns but I don't know what to buy first
A little about me
>5'6" inb4manlet
>180 dad bod according to this girl I know
>I guess I have medium hands, not small but not nigger huge
>don't want something over $350 just because I also have to pay for ffl and transfer fees
i was thinking of getting a .357 but the good ones are around $450 and up. I also thought about a yugo m57 but it's sold out everywhere online and I thought about a mak but dick grips and the cartridge price for all three is more than I'd prefer. Bonus points if you can find a nice sized revolver with a good cartridge
Also Illinois thread

Save up a bit and get something good, mang. I know waiting sucks, but if you get a piece of shit you won't be happy.
Also, representing the 217 here.
>>30104167
I know but that's why I have my price limit at 350 because I also plan on buying a small safe and ammo along with the gun. Also I've seen a lot of guns for around 350 I just don't know if they are good. 708 here btw

Cheaper alterintives to Ruger Gunsite scout?

Mossberg mvp patrol in 308
>>30103998
Savage Scout
>>30103998
I was anxious after buying my gunsite scout that I spent to much money. After putting a burris 2-7x scout scope on it I have a new favorite fun. I know the price has gone up by $50 over the past year, but it should still be worth the money, IMHO
Is it a meme gun, or should I buy one?
>>30103994
100% meme. If you want a 5.7 gun get the ps90, same fucking price too
>>30103994
Looks and feels like an airsoft gun but it shoots a cool round. If you have spare money and you're just picking it up for the fuck of it go ahead and buy it.
>>30103994
The only people I see talking about them seriously are the ones who learned about them through video games. For people who know even a little bit about guns, there are a lot of negatives and very few positives. If you're a collector who just needs every unusual firearm you can acquire, then that would be the main legitimate reason to buy one.
Would this work, /k/? Or would it be horribly inaccurate and worthless?
What do you think, dipshit?
Dismount to fight. Don't try to fight on top of a bicycle you tard.

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PUT BACK THIS TRIGGER BAR SPRING/TRIGGER BACK IN A SIG
>>30103784
Any gun you have there is a YouTube video that will show how to disassemble and reassemble.
Research faggot, it's a thing.
It's a pretty big design flaw, but you can't. You have to call Sig and ask if their warranty will cover a new trigger group. If you did it yourself, odds are you'll have to buy a new one.
>>30103877
>Research faggot, it's a thing.
except there's numerous redesigns on it and I have an older one. There is no videos with the older version.
>"worked for me ;)"
Could this stop a charging bear
Yes, theoretically.
Why waste all of those priceless artifacts when you could just carry a .44 magnum?
Anything's possible, but I wouldn't count on it.
Are these considered machine guns, btw?
How does one into SERE? Tips & tricks from SERE graduates or instructors appreciated.

Just join the Air force and be an aircrew job like I am. After my hella long tech school, I get to go there.
Just be a 1A3 though, thats a cool job. 1A8 takes too long and im stuck in it
Sounds like an interesting gun. Any advice when buying?
Any of you have guns specifically made for competition? Are they good?
>>30103441
What kind of weapon are you talking about?
22. pistols in general?
I shot a GSP (which was ok), a Hämmerli 280 (which was amazing) and a Colt 1911 clone by Walther (which was kinda shit)
>>30103508
I mean sports guns. Are they worth buying for someone who just wants to go to the range.
>>30103441
Spesifically .22 pistols or match guns in general?
I've got a few decent match guns.
