Aside from parallax error, how weird would shifting your view angle "just six degrees down" feel when aiming with both eyes?
Also, does it sit right coupled with non-square RDS (like the time proven Aimpoints)?
Nobody on /k/ has one of these.

>>30095729
Are you in the us? Because you ain't getting a machine pistol you're getting an AK pistol
>>30095729
Not a machine pistol but dracos are great. Reliable and more accurate than you'd think.

How can we revive the use of the 16 gauge in the United States?
stick it up your ass and pull the trigger until it goes click
Mass produce 16 gauge cartridges, start producing 16 gauge shotguns in regularity.
Create a demand.
Problem is, its a cartridge that either 12 or 20 gauge doesn't do.
Need less recoil because you competition shoot? 20 gauge (or more likely 28 if you're an Olympian). NJeed more shot? 12 gauge.
>>30095622
Why? 16 gauge is shit.
literally no benefit over a 12 or 20.
shit, good loading for the 12 gauge made 10 gauge obsolete.
ok /k/ i am looking at a reasonable "precision" rifle. i am looking at either the Remington 700 or the savage 10. i can get them both for the same price so that doesnt matter. which one is better overall with accuracy?

I have a savage 10fcp-sr
With boxed ammo Federal 168 sierra matchking the first 5 shot at 500y was 3 1/4 inch group with only 10 rounds through the gun total.
Ive been quite happy with it, only had it for a couple weeks. Working up handloads for it now with 185 grain Berger, lapua brass and varget.
I have one issue with the gun from factory, and that is the magazines fucking suck. the original fcp-sr had acis style mags, new one has proprietary and they push up rounds unevenly. So youll try to chamber the next round and NOPE. The mags are also hard to lock in as they have to be tilted into place.
I like the Ruger aesthetics and the fact that everyone says they are more reliable than Stoners system.
>>30095412
yeah cool story tell me about rifle in your picture instead.
>>30095412
Do you know what pisses me off? Guys who have beards and wear camo everywhere but get winded climbing stairs and don't even change their own oil.

Just got back from buying a Ruger American, feels so damn good. It's my first gun. I live in CA, been stressing lately about the increasing gun restrictions, and I knew I had to make a purchase sooner rather than later. I can't wait to take it to the range. pic related, chambered .22lr, ran me about $350. How did I do /k/?
>10/22s and model 60's are way cheaper
Why tho
Pretty alright OP. Price isn't the best, but we can chalk that up to CA. Start planning for your next purchase. Maybe a pistol. Get mags and ammo as well.

What kind of AR optics do you guys rock? I use Vortex's Strike Eage 3Gun scope

i love my 24C.
what do you think of the Strike Eagle? i'm interested in turning my 18" build into more of a 3gun rifle, and that would go a long way.
>>30094894
I liked it. The one to six power scope gave you nice options for shooting at different distance. Had fast target acquisition, and my eye picked the reticle right up. Plus the light options made it easier to find. You also can't beats Vortex's warranty
This or a trs25, the trs is on it right now
Why was Rhodesia so great /k/?
Somewhere out there in the vast poverty of Africa...
Somewhere far away in space and time..
Staring upwards at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky
We're marooned on a small island,
In an endless sea,
Confined to a tiny spit of sand,
Unable to escape
But tonight, on this small county.
In Rhodesia, we're going to rock civilization.
Because white people want to feel like gods because they built a substandard modern nation in the middle of a bunch of natives that weren't even out of the stone age.
It was the variance between them and the natives that made their meager efforts look like astronomical achievements when really it was quite mundane.
>>30080015
They made something out of nothing them defended it and won. But they where defeated by the world's need for gilded political correctness.
It happened in Rhodesia it can happen anywhere.....
found this knife at a gun show today. really kinda liked it. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with "world class blades"? the model I'm looking at is the Spartan OTF Black Death edition.
OTFs are fun but are the least functional and weakest knives.
That Spartan looks like shit tough.
Reading about one of their products on their website raised a red flag for me. I'd avoid it and try to find reviews online via YouTube or dedicated knife forums.
>>30094770
Microtech has the monopoly on good OTFs these days.
Lighting is also good and cheap. The perfect entry level OTF.
What would be the geostrategic implications of a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, assuming it stays limited to those countries?
>>30094454
That's bullshit. Killing brown people is America's job.
>>30094454
Might calm Afghanistan down a bit, as the Pakistani ISI would be busier with other problems (namely that they were on fire and irradiated).
For India, it would depend on where they got hit. If it was somewhere important like Mumbai they will take a big economic hit, and one they may not be able to recover from any time soon. China would be looking to fill in that power vacuum, which means the chance of war in the South China Sea would increase.
We would also see a major flood of refugees towards Europe. I can't even begin to predict what that would lead to.
>>30094454
I doubt it could stay limited to those two countries. The international backlash would be huge. China would almost certainly get involved considering it's happening right in their back door. No idea what Russia would do. The US could possibly just because of economic interests.
Can the ACR be saved?
Certainly not by Remington
>>30094445
Maybe if they lowered the price and released those conversion kits. But nowadays just buying a new AR upper in a different caliber is cheaper so maybe not. If I ever saw one for $1200 I would buy it in a heartbeat.
>>30094445
No. Even Remington abandoned the ACR. It's dead Jim.
Came home from work today to find my front door wide open while none of my people were home. I shut and locked all of my doors before I left for work this morning.
Grabbed .45 from car and proceeded to enter my house. Pupper (pic related) was unharmed and happily wagging tail inside the kitchen.
Fucking went through the whole house and found nothing. Nothing was missing or out of place as far as I can tell.
What the fuck guys?
You probably closed it 95% of the way, and the wind blew it open. Either that or a killer is in your walls waiting for you to sleep.
>>30094085
Maybe I'm just losing my mind. I could have sworn I locked that shit. In fact I'm almost positive.
It's a heavy door and hard to blow open assuming I forgot to lock the deadbolt. It has nothing attached to it and it opens to the outside, so the wind could not have opened it inwards, and pulling it outwards would have taken some seriously hard wind, which there wasn't today. It's a perfect sunny day with not a cloud in sight.
Should I check my attic?

White phosphorus is a translucent waxy solid that quickly becomes yellow when exposed to light. For this reason it is also called yellow phosphorus. It glows greenish in the dark (when exposed to oxygen), is highly flammable and pyrophoric (self-igniting) upon contact with air as well as toxic (causing severe liver damage on ingestion and phossy jaw from chronic ingestion or inhalation).
