Cheap but decent handguns? I am looking for a handgun under $300 that isn't a total POS gimme some suggestions if you please
P-64, maybe a Makarov of your lucky.
You can find used Ruger P-series pistols for sub $300. Or a used S&W Sigma / SD. Or slavshit.
Makarovs are really good you can find bulgarian and other good ones for around $300 that are built very well.
I have a GC and I've already lived in US for 8 years (San Francisco). I'm currently living in my home country, but I'd like to return to the US and this time in a state where people won't trouble you over gun ownership. What's the best state for the likes of me, if I'd also like work in my field (CS jobs)? I don't care too much about the salary this time around. Bonus points for full-autos, even though I'm not sure if permanent residents can own those (pre 1986 etc etc).
>>30089546
GA is pretty based, and with a serious amount of tech companies in and around metro atlanta you might end up with a kush job. Cost of living is stupid cheap compared to someplace as hyperinflated as San Fran, so you'll feel like a king.
>>30089569
Looked into that just now, looks like PR:s can carry too which is neat. And the cost of living is indeed much cheaper than in SF.
>>30089546
Off the top of my head any state but CA, NY, MA, CT, MD, and NJ should be fine, give or take a few restrictions. You can check the guide on the NRA website for state specifics.

Who is your favorite PFO (professional former operator)?
>>30089365
I've never taken his classes but everyone who takes one with Travis Haley says he's as nice as he can be. Also patient and funny.
Friend said after the class was over he stayed after like 4 hours sitting on a tailgate hanging out. At another they built a fire and drank beers.

What is that rule even supposed to mean?
Am I supposed to rush to my enemy position and get shot to speed things up then?
Or is he telling us not to fucking eat my second breakfest during a firefight?
What's rule #21? "The more rounds you have, the more you can shoot"?
>join texas /k/ik
>filled with underaged, noguns, illegals, weeaboo, faux-intellectuals and sigshills
>thinks sig anything is made by God himself and the entire chat hisses at you the moment you hint cz or glocks
Tl;Dr they're a bunch of uncivilized faggots. So let's have a proper texas thread.
What are some good lgs and ranges in your area? Any good place to camp out or go innawood?
>going innawoods in TX
hope you're close to the Sam Houston Forest or have some private land
Texas is great, but all the land is out of the clutches of the government and into private hands these days
>>30089254
Can confirm Sam Houston forest, I live about 20 min. away in Huntsville

Are you allowed to camp out anywhere you want or is there a designated camp zones?

Yeah you sure got us.
Finland, Norway and Denmark have all recently started programs to acquire new/replacement 155mm self-propelled artillery.
What should they get? Note Finland hasn't short listed anyone, but Norway and Denmark have.

So I was off /k/ for a few months, and now it seems the place has gone to shit. I started coming on here a few years ago, so I definitely wasn't around for the good ol' days, but what the fuck?
Meme guns? Seriously? The nugget used to be /k/'s mascot, now it's some sort of joke.
Is it just the way of the future that everything is gonna turn to sperglord bullshit because of the general nature of the internet?
Do I need to abandon /k/ for opchan?
Help me understand /k/omrades

that's what makes it great, fampai

This comment is exactly what I'm talking about.
This whole website is now mainstream, sorry to say OP. From gg to milo, and now /k/ is on fucking forbes? It's over, the normies have been shown. Some will stay and get a little corrupted, but mostly they will bring their normalcy here.
Dare I believe?
Or is this hope wasted?

Well, looks like America will go with these then.
>>30088698
I guess it all depends if the costs are truly prohibitive, it may be we got fed a load of bullshit in the last estimate.

I recently lost my job due to some politically incorrect issues. Anyone around ohio's 419 looking to become hasguns? Or at least add to the collection?

419 here. Best of luck anon
>>30088684
I have a friend in that area who is probably after something. Can you post a list?
No ATF thread? Well let's begin shall we?
>>30088680
ATF threads are dead. They just don't work anymore.
And all I have is my picture from a few weeks ago
>>30088680
Alcohol and firearms don't go well together. These threads are in extremely poor taste and generally give a bad impression to anyone outside of the board. If the pictures from these threads got on facebook, twitter etc, we create more Bernie voters.
>this post is not a bump
>>30088855
Oh shut the fuck up. If anyone on /k/ gives a good god damn what someone on facebook thinks about their photo then they should drink fucking bleach.
Nobody is advocating drinking and shooting, and anyone with half a fucking brain takes pictures like this while completely sober.
I know /k/ isn't what it used to be, but go fuck yourself with your "poor taste" bullshit.
Gonna buy my first handgun and I'd like it to be in .45 acp
Anybody care to help?
>>30088619
How big are your hands?
>>30088619
how much do you want to spend?
do you want a 1911? or a gun you should really buy in 9mm but want the .45 version because of memes, like a CZ 97 or PX4?
>>30088656
One of the only guns you should buy in the .45 version is the USP 45.
Sup /k/,
I'm an NFAfag and am not really into slavshit but I have an opportunity to buy an unconverted Legion Saiga in 7.62x39 for $430.
Should I jump on this deal? I am able to do the work to convert it properly.
>>30088559
id jump on it. They go for like 700 now so even if you just want to turn a profit.
NFAg works better, if you ask me.
To answer your question, while that is a good price for an unconverted saiga, you can get a decent AK with proper furnature for the same price.
So yes of you want to flip it.
No if you want to shoot it.
>>30088652
a Saiga is a decent AK though. Plus, it's the closest you'll ever get to a genuine AK-103 once you convert it, seeing as how it's a "genuine" Kalashnikov.
I evidently live(d?) in a cluster of nuclear targets.
Is there some sort of list that actually breaks these down?
I'm also curious.

Try this
/k/, pls help. I'm prepared to go out tomorrow and buy my first gun. I live in California though, and the ten awful laws are apparently making their way through the state gov't.
Does anyone know enough about the laws and current situation to tell me if I would be able to? I know there's a 10 day wait or something, and after would they come knocking to confiscate my rifle?
God dammit, I only put this off for so long because I used to live in my parents' 'nogunzallowed' house and I've been struggling in my new apartment for a few months. I don't want to be left unarmed.....
>>30088372
The best thing would be to not be in California, though then AZ/NM/NV/WA/OR/TX faggots will tell you to REEEEE GET OUT GET OUT because they think you automatically vote blue if you're from CA.
The next best thing would be to go to Washington, Oregon, or Arizona, buy the guns/parts you want and SHOULD be able to have, and bring it back to Cali. It would be civil disobedience, but few people are even going to see it if you also buy the ammo out of state and just shoot in the desert. At worst, you'd get a slap on the wrist and a wag of the finger from the likely-proguns sheriff if he catches you. Just don't let anyone see it in the city. That shit's a whole different ball game.
The third option is to buy something that adheres to the new laws, and buckle up for Diane's Wild Ride. Just be sure to buy something sturdy, accurate, and powerful-- you'll have to shoot it at the fascist pigs when they eventually come for your guns wholesale.
I'm sorry, Calibro.
>>30088481
Well, honestly I don't have the time or money to go out of state. As far as a tube-fed, let's say, what are my options? I'm looking for a .22, waiting for Trump Administration to get an unhindered AR. plus then I'll know how to shoot.
>>30088509
It's a state law, Trump cant do shit about it.
If you kiwis are so tightarsed about price for a fighter then why don't you get a batch of JAS 39s?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_JAS_39_Gripen
Points:
>Most important of all cheap pricetag
>Cheap to maintain
>Multirole
>Good performance
>Modern Avionics
>Needs only a single technician and five conscripts to rearm and perform basic maintenance
>Uses American AMRAAM/Sidewinder, Maverick A-G missile, Mk 82 and GBU-12 bombs so you can buy off us for munitions.
>They can throw in their indigenously built AShM missile for maritime protection too.
Maybe then you can get all of your fighter pilots back who went abroad after you mothballed the A4Ks.
We just don't need them, we're a nation of pacifists sadly. We have no realistic threat in the near future, we're buddy buddy with the Yanks and a member of the Commonwealth. Sure we could spend X amount instead of Y amount, but option Z is spending no money at all
>>30088416
>"we're buddy buddy with the Yanks and a member of the Commonwealth"
You could use that argument for us yet we are getting 12 new subs, better safe then sorry.
If your too hesitant to get F-16s then you may as well look at cheaper options.
>>30088454
i'd also suspect that the very fact aussie has quite a decent armed forces is the reason we won't get them as well. we just assume you'll either get attacked first or that you'll help us out.
