how hard would it be to punch someone to death? i figured this was /k/ based if fists are considered weapons...are they?
>>30336489
The key is repetition. It will take forever, and it will fuck up your hands, but it can and has been done many, many times.
If you're going for body shots, try smashing in the kidneys.
If you're not dead-set on hands, heavy boots have a long recorded history of fucking people up.
>>30336489
Not very, the human body is capable of inflicting and resisting tremendous damage but a blow to the head is still a blow to the head.
>>30336489
one punch if it's at around 42MW of power

that was the worst sewing job i ever seen. do you poor niggers really buy that plastic garbage?
How much operating did he ACTUALLY do? I can't imagine the Coast Guard does any super highspeed stuff. However I am completely willing to be wrong. Is his praise/hate truly warranted? Bumping with Coasty pics.

I have a Glock 19C with a TLR-1 on it, and would like a good, reliable IWB holster.
does /k/ have any recommendations, or should I just keep the TLR on it when its on the night stand.
>>30336405
Bravo concealment
>>30336689
I'm not that fat anon I dont think that will fit IWB...
Now for a OWB i could use that, thanks anon!
Someone has a thread asking if anyone has fought in recent wars. Instead of posting in the 111 reply thread full of shit, I'll start this one.
I fought in the GWOT in 2012 at Bagram for almost a year. The mission was counter ied/idf.
Ask me anything.
What tips would you give to a guy who's pretty shy and would sperg out/drop spaghetti upon meeting people with experience with guns/kommandos?
And how the fuck I don't spaghetti when I touch a gun for the first time?
I remember when these kinds of threads were a bannable offense
>>30336396
Don't break firearm safety rules.
If you don't know something, ask.
>>30336411
I've been here since Duke Nukem. Piss off.
Hey /k/, i asked this in /GQ/ but i figured I'd make my own thread. My mother and brother came to me today and told me they wanted to start prepping, we have a couple grand for supplies and they asked me to puck up a few more guns and teach them to shoot (right now we just have my ar and g19) as far as guns go, should i get a few more ars and glocks or are there better options? wheres the best place to pick up bulk ammo? Is there a legal restriction on how much you can buy? Thanks in advance /k/omrades. Also, prepping general i suppose.
ARs and 9mm Glocks are good. Common, fairly reliable, shoot standard ammo. Plus the recoil should be manageable even for your mom. Restrictions on ammo are essentially nil, except for some states don't let you mail order it. If your state does, you can order by the thousand. Find good prices on wikiarms or other meta-search sites.
>>30336272
Awesome, i appreciate the help amigo! As far as the ar's go should i just grab some basic bitch m&p's or should i build them?
>>30336415
Basic, standardized, and cheap is the way to go for bulk buying. Let them change their own ARs if they want to afterwards - the things are like lego.
I know that blued barrels (not chrome lined) corrode internally quicker than stainless steel barrels. How big of a deal is this if you want a rifle that will last 30+ years
>>30336220
nuggets have nothing and have lasted a century
really depends on the owner
>>30336237
Nuggets are not chromed?
>>30336282
nuggets are nothing just plain steel. if there was bluing its usually long gone
Where does a man learn to shoot guns when all he's ever fired was a .22 revolver, has no friends that shoot and can't afford the classes?
>>30336070
The military.
>>30336070
Start on youtube with Jerry Miculek. Avoid old military tapes on how to shoot, they're cool as fuck but teach old and out-dated shit that you'll have to unlearn.
>>30336131
Yeah but I've never fired a rifle before, is the recoil going to send the gun flying out of my hand? A .22 felt like a BB gun so...
I was looking to pick up a reliable, accurate rifle for under $500. I found the SKS, but don't know much about it.
Is it a good choice to buy? Is there anything that is similar but better?
>>30336022
>Is it a good choice to buy?
not anymore
>Is there anything that is similar but better?
wasr-10
They're good rifles, but not worth the increased price. Unless you live in Canada where they still go for $200-250, then it's a good deal.
From what I've seen they're pretty tough, a decent little survival carbine if there ever was one.
>>30336041
i disagree. a semi auto 7.62x39 for around $400 USD vs WASRs which are currently $650+.
if caliber isnt a big deal then maybe something else, but for your budget, its either this or a cheap AR
Whats the going price for a SKS? Any reason to get one now, besides just likings sks's?
Anywhere from $350 to $500+. I bought one for $375 because I really wanted one, if you want one go for it, but I'd save a bit more and get an AK or AR that I won't have to modify or use shitty mags to get more than 10 rounds. It's a great gun, don't misunderstand, but for the price they go for anymore I'd just get something better for a little more or even the same price.
If you do decide to get one, get a Russian or a Romanian if you can find them.
>>30336014
I've got a norinco with a 30 rd mag if yah wanna buy.
It gets you into the x39 platform and you don't have to invest in bannable magazines.

damn those parts fit together horribly. ria?
>>30335968
lose some weight and grip it properly next time, fat fuck.
Fired this beauty at the local range, but didn't catch the name or brand. Guy at the rental counter said it was brand new... I took a picture and figured I'd just find it online later, but I've browsed every AR I can find for sale and can't find what model this is.
So help! if someone can identify it.

oh wow, I fell in love with the most expensive AR on the rental counter. My bank account is going to HURT.
>>30335961
Knights Armament SR15 maybe?
Check it out guys
Good job Fathands it looks like shit
Why are clones of this so infrequent compared to the 1911?
>>30335888
Because they couldn't clone the best all-steel 9mm every made. Also, its an acquired taste. I used to find it ass ugly, but now its grown on me.
muh two world wars
>>30335888
Because just like the 1911, it shit
How much would you value this /k/riss for?
