>the feds have 7000 drones therefore an uprising would never succeed.
>there are 140 million+ American gun owners
>there are just over 1 million cops
>another roughly 2 million in the US Military (counting the reserves).
Oh, what's this, the civilians have the Government outgunned 100 to 1? Yeah fuck your 7000 drones you can't kill all of us.

well what a shock
I'm looking into buying an AK. I have a budget of around $1000. What would you recommend /k/.
>>30434694
An AK
>>30434727
Two AK
>>30434694
Arsenal or Definitive Arms at that price range.
Or a WASR and a lot of ammo and mags.
Hey /k/
I don't see much discussion about stun guns around here, but I'm looking at getting one and would like some advice. I have my EDC knife and CC handgun, but an incident I had the other day with someone I knew has made me feel like I also need to carry a non-lethal option of self defense for when I don't quite feel legally justified to threaten with deadly means, but there's enough of a threat to warrant physical action to create space.
Anyway, looking toward compact stun guns, and most google results come up with the VTS 880 as the best choice, but I'm a little surprised by how cheap they are, and wonder if that's really a quality product.
The one argument I've heard against those prod type ones is that it could be mistaken for a knife and get you counter spanked.
>>30434728
Counter-shanked
Fucking autocorrect
>>30434590
look into pepper spray. Most of the so called stun guns are effectively contact weapons.
any sks experts here? about to get into the hasguns club and want my first 2 or 3 rifles to be cheap, simple and of the same caliber. this led me the sks. any tips or red flags (or alternatives) would be appreciated.
Stay away from tapco mags
>>30434583
thank you sir
>>30434583
Stay away from pretty much any aftermarket parts, really.
Post pics and discussion of Browning's most based handgat
1911s, pocket pistols, other JMB goodness also very much welcome

What are some books I can learn tactics from? Specifically small unit, but tactics of any scale or interesting. I know the US military has declassified all of their field manuals, are they good for that?
>>30433999
No. The US military doesn't even use those anymore. S'why they declassified them.

>Anti-gun Brit goes to 'Murika
>Has a few guys take him out to shoot guns
>He's no longer anti-gun
I swear if we just took every anti-gun out on a range day about 70% of them would no longer be anti-gun, with a few exceptions like Kuntzman.
>>30433283
Seems like an alright guy tbqf
This is apparently $1300 from the factory
>threaded barrel
>suppressor height sights
>Romeo 1 red dot
>sig meme mk25 lowest profit highest grade anti rust lifetime functional heirloom properties
What do you think?
>>30432527
Just buy a Legion, get your slide milled for an RMR and add a threaded barrel.
Should be $1000
>>30432527
I'd say go for it. It seems pricey, but if you're looking for a handgun that is accurate, fast, and suppressor ready, sig is among, if not the best option.
Without a suppressor, I don't know if I could honestly reccommend that exact package.
Could the Russians have resisted against Germany in WW2 without US lend lease?
>>30432496
Probably, yes.
>>30432496
>>30432510
Tank K/D ratios and production rates say no, total combat age population says yes.
After the failure to take Moscow, total conquest of the USSR was impossible, but German victory was not. Soviets could've been forced to give up the Ukraine and what they had taken from Finland in the Winter War.
>>30432496
Probably not. Lend Lease, provided a quite significant portion of combat vehicles, to say nothing of the non-combat areas. The US provided the USSR with half a million wheeled vehicles. If it hadn't, the Soviets would have had to cut back on producing tanks in order to produce trucks. Further, the US provided the Soviet Union with a large number of industrial supplies, without which the Soviets couldn't have run their factories anyways. Without Lend Lease, over a quarter of Soviet combat vehicles both land and air would have never have been produced. You can think of what the results would be.
I've never fired a gun before and really want to take myself shooting. At the ranges near my house (which are still pretty far) there are some introductory courses but they all center around handguns and purchasing a handgun. Honestly I'm not that interested in shooting handguns or buying one. I just want to shoot rifles. I was hoping there would be one that centered around .22 rifles, which is the best place to start according to things I've read on this board. Should I take the handgun course anyway? or would it not be of much help. Would I be better off just reading up on gun saftey, watching some videos and renting a .22 and going to the range?
>>30432128
Read up on gun safety and go rent a .22 (rifle or pistol; it doesn't really matter)
Typically if you're renting they'll I've you the manual of arms for whatever you rent, so you should be good.
Dont fo it op you will get bruised up and get ptsd.
Google if there's any Appleseed events happening near you.
Hi i am the gun
my Stevens 320 would be going "I'm so hurt daddy, they didn't build me right"
>What are you gonna do? Shoot me?
frustrating, stupid, or plain embarassing things that have happened to you in the firearms world
Ill start
>turned 21, want my first gun
>im weird and want it to be special
>being my first gun, I want it to mean something and be symbolic
>too many choices, dont want/cant afford anything custom but dont want a vanilla glock 19 either
>settle on a model 10 smith and wesson
>classic, cheap, simple, historic, heirloom worthy and overall just want I was looking for
>visit all the gun shops in town, none of them have any
>they have taurus, charter arms, rugers, newer Hilary holes smiths but not a plain model 10
>get worried, they tell me if I really want one they can order it from smith and wesson
>700 fucking dollars and S@W has been backlogged for months
>settle on a model 65 smith and wesson for $650
>like it a lot and dont want to complain, but its not exactly what I wanted
>ill never get a "first" gun again
maybe im just too autistic but it still bums me out. Also apparently model 10s are fucking unobtaniuam where I live even though Ive seen them sold for 300 dollars in other places
>>30431066

So I just got my new 1911 and I stripped it down to clean the parts because it's brand new but I am noticing some issues with the frame, and the finish on it. Does this look normal for a 1911?
>>30510728
These rails are shitty looking and are like 1/3rd the length of the ones I am looking at on google.
>>30510751
Here is a pic of the slide. These locking lugs are all scrapped up and look cheesy.
Anyone here more experienced with 1911s able to chime in?
>>30510791
Look how flimsy the barrel bushing is. It's actually bent from me removing it with a wrench.
The FBI is making an announcement regarding Clinton at 11AM ET, 47 minutes from this post
This could make or break our gun rights
Why would this make or break our gun rights?
They're just going to announce that Clinton is freed of all charges.
People will flip out and she won't make it into the White House. And even if she did, no fucking way in hell she'll be able to pass shit. Law-abiding middle-class white gun owners are getting tired of being blamed for gun crime when 99% of it is Trayquandius and JaRothron doing it.
>>30509297
All its going to be is the FBI letting her go.
And then she's going to win
And then it's going to be 8 years of us loosing every right we have while she tries to ruin us about as bad as Germany is
>>30509322
It's a 50/50 she'll make it into the White house, more like 70/30 in my opinion. Trump can't stop painting himself in a bad light and I say this as a Trump voter.
In case you didn't know we have an empty seat on the SCOTUS and within the next 8 years we'll probably have another one.
Even if white gun owners are getting tired of it no one is going to do shit about it. Be honest man, it's fun to make believe but nothing will happen. They'll just pass laws until we're all left with single shot bolt action rifles, effectively neutering 2A
