How are barrels mounted in the receivers of various rifles? The AR, AK, etc...?
I just need ideas as to how to do it on a design I'm working on for fun. If it helps it's chambered in .22 LR.

On an AR, the barrel goes into the receiver, then a threaded barrel nut goes on top and tightens the barrel to the receiver

Would you consider giving all your weapons up except for one low capacity pistol if a militias union was created?
This would allow for both home and self defense while still being able to use rifles and other guns to defend your people. The only difference would be an actual national union of militias with rules and guidelines.
