Looking into buying my first handgun. Think i've narrowed it down but not sure. I've only shot the XD but in .45 caliber.
Which one of these is the best? Which one is the smallest? I know the Shield is the cheapest but are there any tradeoffs?
Also are there any other concealed handguns in this "tier"? I know there is the G26 which is thicker and double-stack.
I heard g43 sucks and that the Kel-Tec pf9 is hit or miss.
What about .380s?
>>30448678
The Shield's only problem is the trigger. If you can get over that, it is a perfect cc gun.
Shield, PPS m2 and G43 are the best options as far as single stack 9s
>>30448678
I don't like the XD's safe.
Just got a new Case trapper.
I've been carrying tactical folders for quite a while, trying to go more traditional.

Are any AKs currently being imported besides NPAPs, 5.45 Arsenals, and Veprs?
If not, what's the best parts-kit gun.
On an unrelated note, if I move to a new state, do I need a new driver's license before I can buy guns?
>>30448409
To the driver's license thing, yes, you do
>>30448448
thanks for the input. Do you know anything about AKs?
>>30448409
Classic Firearms AMD series.
How do you weaponize a ceiling fan?
>>30448104
sharpen it
Attach downward-positioned flamethrowers.
Chainsaws instead of blades
I recently bought a P320 Carry in MD. The magazine capacity in MD for a pistol is 10 rounds. The store worker said its possible to remove the magazine block as long as its done out of state.
Does /k/ know how to remove unblock a SIG magazine?
>>30448038
What is google?
What is youtube?
Why is OP a fag?
>>30448296
Couldnt find anything on google or youtube,
is my google-fu weak?
>>30448038
It's not legal for you to bring that mag back into MD once you remove the block. It's not even legal for you to possess.
To remove it, you need to take the magazine apart. Are you too dense to be able to do that?
Can /k/ tell me how much this is worth its a Stevens single shot 20ga is all I know kind of beat up this guy is trying to sell me it for $125 whats it worth???
Heres some more photos
Last photo I have of it.
/k/ your my only hope

Everyone there was probably drunk to different degrees.
Are nuclear aircraft carriers going to be completely outclassed by something like mixed-armament battleships were done in by Dreadnoughts?
Will it be something simple like a missile? Some new class of aircraft? Space weapons? A fucking virus?
In 2016, I can't believe that so much of our naval fighting strength rests within such juicy friggin' targets.
BILLIONS of dollars, thousands of sailors, and dozens of high-performance aircraft.
Something just doesn't seem right about this when I think about current and projected levels of technology.
Am I being dumb?
>pro-tip: No
>>30447224
Bump. No one up for a carrier discussion?
Only ship that could make a carrier obsolete is a space carrier.
>>30447224
whatever makes careers obsolete will have to be a force projection platform of some other design. maybe a giant unmanned drone carrier floating in the sky or a new class of transports, possibly hypersonic.
in a hundred years it might be a space station with rapid response teams ready to drop back to earth.
short answer is no, probably not in our lifetime. carriers work too well and have become the literal centerpiece of too much military doctrine to go away quickly.
Wait, is it even allowed? Cool anyway.

Friend of mine dug up his grandfather's guns he brought back ww2, and I need help identifying this gun

Looks like an air rifle that i've seen that you can swap some parts out and it becomes a real .22lr rifle

Anyone have any news on good deals for the upcoming holiday? Can be for guns, ammo, etc.
Also, have any of you had any experience with Huldra AR's? Fleet Farm has Mark IV 5.56 Mid Tactical Elite rifles half off for $719 for the 4th and I was wondering if they were any good. I'm new to AR's so any tips or insights are much appreciated. Pic related.
I wouldn't considering purchasing a piston-based AR-15 for your first rifle. You can't go wrong with BCM, LMT, or Colt (6020, 6940, or AR15A4). Yes, there are a lot of other great manufacturers out there, but if you're looking for a basic starting rifle around that price these brands are what I'd recommend.
>>30446610
No insight on those rifles. But I do know that my department started issuing Ruger556 rifles. They are at a price point of 550-600 for a gun that hasflip up rear, a frame front, and military spec rifle.
Its about the cheapest I would go. Groups were within a half dollar using iron only at 30m for me from the knee using american eagle .223 ammunition during qualifications.
Good luck with your search. If you want good deals on ammo, subscribe to freedom munitions mailing list. I get 20-50% ammo notifications weekly, and flat rate/free shipping notifications.

>Also, have any of you had any experience with Huldra AR's?
My co-worker has one (pic relate) and enjoys it. He actually just bought another Huldra upper. I've fired it, and I preferred it over my friend's DI rifle.
I'm currently in the process of building an AR myself. I will be working off a Huldra lower, but /arg/ convinced me that standard D.I. gas system would be better for my first build.
I have an AK already, so it's not like I need some mythically reliable piston AR.
To be perfectly honest though, the Huldra products are half price (for reasons unknown), and I wouldn't fault you for buying one. Just be aware that there seems to be a learning curve with them.
