Hey /k/, we are a group of European students that will be in the Brockport area in the next days. On one of our free evenings we want to go to a range and have some fun time. Do the laws in Upstate New York allow tourists to rent guns? And can you recommend a place near Brockport? Sadly we are bound to public transport/taxi/uber.
>>33458174
You had to pick one of the worst states in the Union for funs. Good luck with that.
Come to Alabama next time. We won't rape you any worse than muslim refugees and we have better food and all the guns you can shoot.
>>33458214
Sadly the state was not up for discussion. Is there no possibility at all to shoot a gun as a tourist in NY?
Alabama is on my list.
https://www.thefiringpinny.com/rental-firearms
Looks like you can only rent long guns. Site says you need a pistol permit to rent handguns.

Glockfags
Explain this Hi-Point tier bullshit to me
This is absolutely disgusting
It helps with striping out magazines
>>33458116
This isn't an issue with either design nor is it really a problem in modern day handguns in general.
>>33458130
That CZ's magazine floorplate will print like fucking mad
Are these duds or do they run?
>>33457779
Never personally bought a full PSA AR10, but I did buy their BCG, stripped lower and LPK and both run great on my build. Be warned PSA takes forever and a day sometimes to ship your order. Other times they ship fast. Can't really devine a pattern in when which happens
>>33457798
Ordered one from them on Thursday my upper will be in tomorrow and lower will be in the next day.
Bought my first AR-15 from them and It's been great so decided I'd get my AR-10 from them. With a blushed lower it came out to just under $800.
>>33457779
Only the rear mbus and it's pinned down by the scope? This shit gets me every time.
If there is a active shooter and I can sneak behind them with knife in photo, what's the best place to strike to end the threat?
Bumping for safety
>>33457620
Why strike to end the threat when you can grab them by the waist and whisper sweet nothings into their ear.
*muah*
Yourself superficially to make it appear you've been shot already
/k/

Why do I have such a hard on for mechanized infantry when they're inferior to both tanks and light infantry?
>>33456735
>inferior to both tanks and light infantry
nigga what
>>33456769
Recent conflicts have shown light infantry in technicals routinely beating and destroying mechanized infantry forces
IFVs are just easy targets for TOWs and RPGs and then the light infantry mop up with superior numbers
against tanks it's obvious
>>33456785
Which conflict showed that?
Also I'd argue against them not being effective against tanks by citing the fact that Bradley's neutralized more Iraqi tanks than Abrams' did.
What do you guys have?
How do you use them?
I like to practice in my backyard with my crosman 760. Working on trigger control mostly, pulling straight etc. Thinking of buying a rifled barrel for it from crosman and just shooting straight pellets.
Also I just riccocheted a pellet of an empty 40 and have no idea where it went. I need to get a trap or backdrop or something other than a privacy fence.
i might get a skeleton airsoft pistol
probally a green gas glock or a revolver c02
>>33456512
why airsoft and not bbs or pellets?
i have an air arms S200 i use for target shooting. Air guns are eaiser to get in to over in britbongistan as you don't need to do the special handshake with your local freemason to get a licence.
Does anyone here have any trigger-time with the SVDK (SVD's big brother in 9.3mm)?
I have an opportunity to buy one but there are some things that still concern me:
>does it fuck the brass up like its little brother?
>how gay is 9.3x64 really compared to real magnums? The thing drops like a rock but I suppose it doesn't drift as much in the wind?
>how harsh is it on the scopes?
I have extensive experience with an SVD but I have only couple of times got to finger-fuck an SVDK/TIGR-9.
>>33456447

>>33456447

I want to love the R1 so much but...I just can't.
>>33456111
is this subtle vargposting?
Does anyone have anymore of these? All I have is a few for the bmp-1. Will be dumping all of it
How good were they compared to their opponents and allies?
I always see so much on /k/ about comparing German weapons to British or Americans, but what about Soviet machine guns? Soviet rifles? Soviet submachine guns? Or pistols?
How did the arms issued to the solders of the Red Army stack up?
And please, Red Army pics if you please.
>>33456010
their bolt actions were shit in 1891 and were shit in 1941
>>33456010
They weren't exactly produced for quality over quantity.
THey did what they were intended for, namely arming a really big bunch of guys.

Britbongs on suicide watch.
As crude as it is you can see from the slow footage that the thing just works.
>>33455927
>game changer
Dude, it fucking sucked compared to dedicated semi automatic actions.
Converting bolt actions to semi auto tends to not go well and this is the perfect example.
It's clunky, terrifying to use, and damn near worthless when compared to something meant to be used as a semi auto.
>>33455927
I feel like that would be a fucking nightmare to clean, especially on the western front.
>>33455986
>Converting bolt actions to semi auto tends to not go well and this is the perfect example.
But you have millions of them why not push couple of thousand and see what happens.
Brits love evolving rifles anyway, changes could have been made to make it more skookum.
New callsign, who dis?

You could merk rats and small birds with them I guess.
>>33455259
As you can see by the box they are only for homosexuals.
