Howdy, /his/. I'm gonna need your help with a paper, if anybody is willing.

We have to find 5 sources of information pertaining to whatever or whomever we want (In my case Hannibal Barca). The catch is that they have to be non-credible sources, and we must explain why they are so.

This is a little strange, but my professor tried to explain it. Basically, we have find a source that has incorrect information, or correct information but with something else that would cause it to be deemed inappropriate for college-level papers.

If anybody can help me find these (5) sources, I'd love you. I sure as hell don't know where to start.

If people in distant history were to listen to our contemporary music would anyone like it or would it sound too alien to be enjoyable? Because it seems to me that medieval folk music is actually quite good, but I wonder if they would think the same of modern music.

Does music just always sound good regardless of time or culture or is your appreciation of it dependent on previous experience?

Watch Back to the Future where Marty was playing Johnny B Goode at the ball and suddenly rocks out a David Hasslehoff solo and everyone goes wtf
>>
>>1953066
Tchaikovsky would be considered "modern" to them, and I bet they would love it. Some aspects of folk music are probably a generational thing that can go across boundaries. There's a reason a person and their guitar , or something playing piano, is still an enjoyable thing at the most basic aspect of music.
>>
We largely like theirs so I assume at least some of it would appeal to them.

Obvious lots of it like metal and anything electronic would sound extremely alien to them.

>Roman construction took a directional straightness. Many long sections are ruler-straight, but it should not be thought that all of them were. Some links in the network were as long as 55 miles (89 km). Gradients of 10%–12% are known in ordinary terrain, 15%–20% in mountainous country. The Roman emphasis on constructing straight roads often resulted in steep slopes relatively impractical for most commercial traffic; over the years the Romans themselves realized this and built longer, but more manageable, alternatives to existing roads. Roman roads generally went straight up and down hills, rather than in a serpentine pattern.

It's always cool to be a contrarian on 4chan. Saying you hate X automatically makes you superior to X and whoever agrees with them. So obviously, the more widely agreed on X, the better it is to hate them.

His theory wasn't able to survive the critisism on it and can be seen as disproved. He just acts quite immature on critisism what makes also hated as a person.

I'm currently outlining a 6-part military historical epic centered around the life of this exceptionally long-lived soldier.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Thurel

While his individual exploits aren't that notable, he was a part of an incredible expanse of history, offering a worm's eye view of the decline and implosion of the French empire.

The writing style will be the literary equivalent of the Starz Spartacus series, aiming for 1/3 plot/history, 1/3 gratuitous sex, and 1/3 over-the-top violence. There will be tons of historical embellishment, since most of his life is unknown.

The first book deals with his early life and extensive peacetime training, leading up to his first actual combat at the age of 38 in which is he dramatically shot. (book 2 begins with his convalescence)

What would really set this book a part from other attempts? I'm considering including some supernatural, but in general I avoid bandwagons, and don't want to be percieved as being a part of the whole "Muskets and Magic" thing that seems to be happening right now.

From what I can tell The Touraine Regiment was an elite Regiment of light infantry, similar to the the 75th Ranger Regiment of the US.

>War of Polish Sucession
>War of Austrian Sucession
>Seven Years' War
>American Revolutionary Wars

Plus some other shit, eventually redesignated as the 33rd Line Infantry.

Pretty based, for a private.

It looks like it might be exceptionally dry, but there aren't many books on this specific war from what I've seen (beside the North American theater, of course.)

But that denies the plausibility of various truths, but rather one only, since there can be only one 'is' since anything other than the 'is' wouldn't be, as Parmenides puts it, not sure if I explained myself correctly

How did both of these shitty polish and turk "empires" contributed nothing to humanity through its entire existence outside of occasional militaristic achievements?

The only part they played in history was bleeding each other to death to make space later on for more benevolent, functional and more innovative countries in years to come (Prussia, Austria-Hungary, Britain, France)
What's their excuse? If you use "shitty geographical position" you're retarded btw.
