Who is right about western dominance in the last ~500 years?
Jared Diamond: Climate and other environmental factors helped europe while africa was doomed to be poor and primitive. Basically: determinism.
Niall Ferguson: Western values like individualism, property rights have uniquely developed in christian europe.
Its less deterministic but christianity/protestantism played a role that allowed these values to be established.
Who is right?
Domesticating Zebras is harder than domesticating horses. But there are plenty of other animals that could be used, even in africa.
Or are both wrong and /pol/ is right: african mean IQ of <70 means it does not matter in what environment they live and what values they have.

Hey his,
I'm from Pakistan, I'm planning to politically take over the country but there is one thorn in my plan. The military. The armed forces and the intelligence agencies hold all civilian governments by their balls and take over whenever they feel like it. Literally >50% of our governments have been military despite us being a democracy.
So here's my question. Considering that the army runs business empires, holds huge amount of control over the population, and is all-powerful(They literally don't even need the Congress to fund them due to self-funding. ), how would one go about removing their strangle over national politics?
I'm also curious as to how different countries that encountered the same problem solved it without incurring the wrath of the army at the same time as they decreased their power within the country, also why there were never any military coups in the US.
Basically, how to avoid military dictators.
PS. If you don't give me acceptable answers, I will personally email George Soros and ask him for advice on this topic. You know where that will lead to.

Game is created by a guy who worked with "Civilizations" and it resembles "Civilizations" idea. So here are some questions you can ask, if you are familiar with the history.
In what way Koreans and Japanese are Civilization or a decent society until just recently? Japan was a meme country before forced reformations of the 1860s, Korea was irrelevant developing country until the 1970s. China wasn't a thing except for the early times. In Mercenary camp you can encounter "Chinese Hand Cannons" - now what the fuck is that? High ranked mercenary is "Bedouin Rider", again, militarily speaking, it was not a thing. In Coalitions you have options like "Aztecs", "Cherokee", "Maori", "mongols", "Egyptians", "Indians", "Russians", "Americans". Now, what coalition could you possibly make with bunch of violent cannibals without the legal system like Aztecs, Cherokees and Maoris? And the mngols? Their """empire""" couldn't even establish proper infrastructure, they just moved around. Their whole """empire""" was just presence here and there. Seems super forced
