What can /his/ tell me about Zwingli and his theology?
Anabaptism is about being baptized with your own consent as an adult, rather than being baptized as a kid. Catholics and Luther saw it as a "second" baptism and called it fukken gay and heretical, while the anabaptists though that the baby baptism didn't count, and that your first "true" baptism is when you do it as a consenting adult.

You seem to know some stuff about sex stuffs. Would you happen to know any titles exploring and analyzing the prevalence of pedophilia throughout history and historical cultures?
Controversial topic, I know, but there seems to be next to nothing that I know of even touching upon the topic. I feel it's pertinent in regards to today's current cultural situation.
Can someone explain Georgism to me?
Bumping for an answer
1: tax land
2: ???
3: commie utopia
Damn OP I had to look it up.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgism
>Georgism (also called geoism[1]) is an economic philosophy holding that, while people should own the value they produce themselves, economic value derived from land (including natural resources and natural opportunities) should belong equally to all members of society.[2][3][4]

Alright /his/,
/pol/ was a let-down for the thread, so I pose the question to you:
What would have happened if Sir Oswald Mosley had become Prime Minister before WWII? Would Britain have sided with the German Reich? Or would they have given them a proper fight?
>>2063452
WWII would have been completely different.
tl;dr: France wouldn't have backed the Poles, Hitler would have continued Eastwards, etc.
The world would have been much better off regardless of how it went from there.
>>2063494
>world would have been better off
Interesting. Before rendering my verdict, I have a few questions:
1) What are your opinions on the Wheremacht?
2) How about the Einsatzgruppen?
>>2063494
Totally agree. Hitler never wanted to go to war with Britain, he saw his entire destiny as purging the Judaeo-Communist Slavs in the USSR.
He wouldn't have sided with anyone, because they would never be a proper fight. Germany vs USSR, no French involvement.
With respect to the cartel wars, can the origins of violence in Mexican culture be traced back to the Aztecs?

>The Ustaše were fiercely Catholic, identifying it with Croatian nationalism.[9] They declared that the Catholic and Muslim faiths were the religions of the Croatian people. They claimed the Islam of the Bosniaks was a religion which "keeps true the blood of Croats".[10]

>You will never live in the parallel universe where all the rest of history proceeded exactly as we know it, EXCEPT that Rhode Island never assented to join the Union

You don't think the Union would've annexed it on some trumped-up pretext during the Civil War or WWII or some shit? "We must secure our borders!"
>>2063262
Liechtenstein is still a thing. And speaking of "Trump", well, truth is stranger than fiction. My point being that memes have historical reality, such that it is not a stretch to imagine that by some other accident, things might have proceeded differently.
The only reason why we think history set in stone is exactly because it happened to happen in our past. Things need not have transpired as they did, generally speaking. At least one or two other avenues were typically possible, however unlikely.

Hi /hst/,
Today I took my final final, which will land my my degree in Philosophy (don't meme me, I was going to go into Law after). However, upon a final audit, I discovered I am two terms away from also double-majoring in History from all the elective classes I took in history; one term would be paid for with the GI Bill, and I would only have to pay for a 4 credit class in the Spring if the VA doesn't extend my benefits.
Is it worth double-majoring? I know the wonders a Philosophy and a History degree provide me in the field of Pizza Delivery, but, I thought it might be worth pursuing since I am close to finishing it. Should I bother, or spend the last of my benefits on something else?
>>2062899

do it goyim, wouldn't you like having two pieces of paper instead of one?
I'm looking for some information regarding Nazi ranks for a short story that I'm working on.
So I have a character who is taking on the role of an interrogator for the German army during WW2. Does anyone know what rank might generally be assigned to the task? Would it be considered a sort of grunt work for a lower ranking officer, or would it be something that only high ranking officers are assigned to?
I've included a pic of some tits as incentive
>>2062864
Obergefreiter in the Wehrmacht. Google Hanns Scharff.
>>2062958
Definitely helpful, thank you!
I'm doing research on this now, but do you know what sort of equivalent this rank would be in the US? How high up is it, and would someone at this rank have any control over other lower ranked soldiers?
>>2063043
It's below NCO, lance corporal or private first class might be the closest. They only had control over a small squad of Soldaten and Gefreiter at most.

Mosley was stylish as heck, but his speeches weren't so great to listen to. It's too bad he never got into power. Imagine if him, Salgado, Mussolini, Primo de Rivera, Salazar, and Degrelle had all come to power, and Hitler never did. Communism wouldn't have stood a chance.
