So the Bush War was a long time ago, but I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on the fifteen year UDI Rhodesia. What are your thoughts on Smith, the Rhodesian Front, Mugabe, ZANU-PF, and anything else from the time. Would you support the Rhodesian Republic? Or would you follow in the footsteps of Britain and America and shun the little nation?
I would shoot some praying grandmothers in order to save the white race.

Rhodesia a best
Honestly I'd take any of these. Just get rid of Mugabe.

We got rid of the most violent types from our shires, our aristocracy got an extended trip abroad, we killed lots of Frenchmen, looted France, and came back. How is that a loss?
>>2122543
Losing the entirety of continental holdings except Calais and directly resulting in brutal civil war?
>how did serbia get rekt in the yugoslav wars
>we got rid of the most violent types from out opstinas

England's goal was to secure the throne of France.
They failed.
They lost.
So okay /his/ we can all balkanize most of Europe without it looking retarded but how do you balkanize russia without it looking retarded like pic related and without the new balkanized countries collapsing because of economic reasons.
>>2122538
This is very simple, my friend. Inshallah once ethnic Russians have aborted/drunken themselves out of existence there will be two nations; the Islamic Tartar and Caucasus Republic and whatever the dumb kaffirs come up with
>>2122538
Wait until China completes their colonization of Siberia and buys it from Russia.
Something like that.
Simeon II of Bulgaria has successfully formed a political party and won the elections in 2001.
Was there any other precedent where former monarchs were victorious at democratic elections?
>>2122330
Napoleon the III won a (((democratic))) election as President of France before becoming (Imp)eror of France.
>>2122356
Yes, but he didn't become emperor much later. I meant people going the opposite way: from monarch to democratically elected leader.
>>2122376
Well, yeah. But his family was royalty before being citoyens and then becoming royalty again.
I can't find anyone who was an actual monarch and then a citizen and then a democratically elected leader though.
What happened to them, /his/?

Do people on this board really think that historical events like the fall of Rome, ride of western Europe, the rise of Islam or any other large historical event, can be explained with simple explanations.
one should at least summarize for basis
Why not? We can explain humankind as "featherless bipeds", after all.
>>2122148
This, desu. Broad strokes. Just avoid any metahistorical narratives.

Why Europe was that bad during dark ages? Is it because Christianity and its influence on majority of honest people or you should blame feudalism?

What the difference between science and religion? Can they coexist in modern world?
>>2121043
>What the difference between science and religion?
They are totally different things?
>Can they coexist in modern world?
Yes, why not?
>>2121043
Religion thrives where science hasnt explored yet.
As this space is very big, a sciencephilic religion would have no greater problems as this unknown space is still very vast and wont be filled anytime soon.
It gets problematic with religions whose self sustenance relies on "historical events" such as the splitting of the moon.
Religion was created when there was lack of knowledge within science to explain things. Not really sure how religion still thrives other then muh morals

Debatable. The rites werent set on unified dates, sometimes the hunt went around during the nights around the new year, sometimes it is already thought to appear as early as october.
Wodan/Odin was also a god of death.
A lot of procession rites during fall in central europe are attributed to the wild hunt, often children ritually sing and beg for food, while carrying lights. Such processions are often lead by a rider/saint in upper germanic regions or simply told about figurativly and played after with a menangery of certain monstrous figures in the alpine region.
Rites with children are generally said to symbolize the ancestors taken by the rider into this world during winter so they can be ritually fed and pleased by taking the children as a substitute.
The wild hunt itself survived as a spook until the 18th century with many recorded sightings, peasant used to offer it milk and bread way up into christian times.
In some variations, the wild hunt hunts the women/female godess Holle, in others she is a part of the hunt.
