It's liking anime subs writing "Kami-sama" instead of "God." The only reason we have "Allah" in the dictionary is the first orientalists were special snowflakes who wanted to make an arbitrary distinction between their hobby and conventional theology.

Religion is nice and all, but pragmatism almost always wins out over it. I suppose there's been one or two religions where this was not the case, but as you may suspect, they went extinct along with those that preached absolute abstinence (and sometimes were one in the same).

Children in Syria have been tortured, maimed and sexually abused by Bashar al-Assad's forces and recruited for combat by the rebels fighting to topple him during the country's conflict of almost three years, a new UN report says.
