PEOPLE CALL ME THE SPACE COWBOY
Why don't the kings and the bourgeoisie give the plebs an opportunity to be god dictator for a day with all of the trimmings (elaborate palace, whores, $10k champagne bottles, golden Lamborghinis etc.) via some kind of a lottery system to entice them to work harder? What's the worst that could happen?
Might be cool.
>>2451694
>What's the worst that could happen?
The people who were naive enough to think that the ruling class acts in the interest of the majority realize that it only serves itself and overthrow the current political system violently? That's not something the owners of capital would want.
Because only the plebbist of plebs would want to actually do that.
Would much rather win that kind of money so I can live comfortably than spend it all in a day.

>Saturnalia is the best-known of several festivals in the Greco-Roman world characterized by role reversals and behavioral license. Slaves were treated to a banquet of the kind usually enjoyed by their masters. Ancient sources differ on the circumstances: some suggest that master and slave dined together, while others indicate that the slaves feasted first, or that the masters actually served the food

Haiti was the first successful slave revolt, first black republic, and defeated Leclerc and his professional European army and yet is hardly talked about. Why? Is it because it is a shithole today?
Haiti got defeated in 1844 by Dominicans. Then downhill from there as other sources for Haitis tropical agricutlure products were found.
it is talked about, just not in your pleb circles it seems

Europeans historically didn't want to talk about getting BTFO and black activists don't wanna to talk about a failed black state
It's a matter of intense debate what Hitler's actual personal religious beliefs were and I am guessing he was one of those people that wouldn't be able to give you a straightforward answer if you asked him.
He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and he never said he had left and he was never kicked out, if he was a nobody rather than a famous dictator the Catholic Church would happily describe him as a Catholic.
It is fair to state as a matter of fact he was always a Roman Catholic throughout his life.
>>2451341
Agreed.
His interest in european pagan mythology was more of a fetish coming out of his austismal german nationalism.
He wasn't a Catholic once he reached maturity; but you're right that the Catholic Church wouldn't put so much effort into distancing themselves from Hitler, if Hitler wasn't Hitler.
He was neither Christian, nor atheist, nor pagan; probably best described as an opportunist with a fair amount of interest in religious philosophy.
I think Hitler was just one of those guys that wanted to tell people whatever they wanted to hear, it'd be a stretch to say he had any real deep seated religious beliefs.
What went wrong.

I'm going to Cornwall tomorrow for the St. Piran's Day parades and celebrations, but also to learn. I haven't had the time to read too much about the history, but could Cornwall be said to be one of the models of peasant uprisings?
>seen as Celtic pagan farmers and looked down on
>discover tin, become industrialized and exploited
>march a standing army of peasants into London
>lay siege to religious noblemen
>their flag even references their mining days
What do I need to know, as a bloody yankee sunburnt tourist travelling merry England?
It's poor as fuck.

>Uprising of 1497
>Taxed out the ass by Henry in his campaign against the Scots
>Composed mainly of tin miners and farmers angry at the royalty exploiting their labors
>Organize through mining parliaments
>Tax collector and provost of Glasney College is sacked by an army of 15,000 angry peasants led by An Gof, a blacksmith who remains the head of the revolt even after members of the old royalty joined the cause
>The king spreads rumors that he'll attack on Monday, but in stead attacks on Saturday while the Cornish army is near Deptford Strand in SE London
>An Goff's second-hand man, a lawyer named Thomas Flamank, literally said as his last words, "Speak the truth and only then can you be free of your chains," which is pretty much the end of the Manifesto and wouldn't surprise me if Marx used this to tip his fedora at England

Give me one good reason why equality of outcome is a bad thing.
No one deserves to be happier than anyone else. Either we should all be happy, or we should all be miserable.
>>2450717
Because we can all be happy without all being equal. I would rather have an unequal world where the lowest man is happier than every man in the equal world. I know this is hyperbole but I think my point is clear. Absolute happiness is more important than relative happiness
>>2450717
Equality has nothing to do with happiness. If anything, it prevents it.
