This man was murdered via poisoning, forensic evidence proves this, yet his death is not listed as an assassination.
President Taylor had many enemies due to his non-committal attitudes to hot button topics on slavery, as well as being a part of a dying Whig party, which was seen as controversial.
Taylor was a hardy man who fought in many battles, yet it is believed that he died from simple food poisoning? No, the food he devoured was laced with arsenic.

They had exhumed the body, where traces of arsenic and mercury where found; while it isn't likely that the amount that was collected at the body at the time of examination would've killed him, it is more than possible for the arsenic to have decayed or was primarily on a part of a body that was decayed.
Remember that despite being a Whig, Taylor was often called "a man without a party" due to owning slaves but not expanding slavery, leading both sides to see him as unsavory.

Consider this, Taylor's death could've been attributed to medical malpractice.
Guess who he had the same physicians of? James K. Polk.
Guess who he had publicly spoken out about numerous times? James K. Polk.
Separately, his daughter married Jefferson Davis in a relationship he didn't approve of, he killed an unknown number of natives, yet expressed sympathy towards them, another "both sides" thing, and he had a lot of people pulling legwork for him to be president, only for him, in return, to not act upon pro-slavery wishes.
Too many enemies and too much shadiness around his death, there's a connection there; someone wanted Taylor dead, and their plan worked.

True, but that doesn't stop the body from decaying and taking pieces of arsenic with it.
Organs rot faster than bone, so the fact that there not enough arsenic to kill a man on the body when they autopsied it only says so little about what actually went down.
