College fag living in shitty digs here, recently graduated to wageslave so I'm looking for an Internet upgrade. The free WiFi offered here it faggot shit and disconnects every other half-hour, speed fluctuates wildly and I think they've caught on to my Bittorrent traffic so they're throttling me. Is Verizon a good choice? Fios doesn't seem that bad and I'm able to afford it...

Does the government maintain an archive of every website that you visit and all the information that you send on the internet?

So logs of all your chats, porn habits, shitposts on 4chan, etc.

Do they only do it for people on a 'list'? What do you need to do to get on such a list?

Yes. The USA has been logging all traffic, telephone calls and everything else on the internet since the late 80s. In the 90s was echelon the hot shit, now it is prism. Xkeyscore tracks your browsing habits.

Ok is it worth it switching from a 32 bit browser to a 64 bit one if you have a 64-bit platform. I mean the increase of performance is debatable, chrome alone swallows so much RAM as a downtown alley stripper.
12 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>55120018
Why the fuck are you using 32-bit anything that also has a 64-bit version when using a 64-bit machine?
>>
>is it worth to use an outdated standard just because it still works?

You should compile it to use instructions specific to your CPU.
>>
It just doesn't fucking matter, to be honest. The 64 bit browser will actually perform worse by a few percentage points (anyone that tells you otherwise is a fucking liar and you can verify that shit yourself). 32 bit code is just too fucking optimized because of maturity and 64 bit code just ain't there yet on any platform.

Seriously, it doesn't fucking matter on modern hardware, use whatever one floats your boat/squeaks your sneaker/straightens your pants/gives you that funny feeling/etc.

Why the fuck are camera's so expensive? I just want something decently better than my phone camera, which is like 5MP and horrible

im basically retarded but even i can see nvidia is one of the most disingenuous companies to ever fucking exist

how can you support them, i know u like the high frame rates or whatever, but these people are striahgt up lying conniving cunts that will do anything to squeeze another dollar out of you

you see that huge price drop? wanna know why they did that?

when AMD released their lower priced boards thats when nvidia went "SHIT WE CANT KEEP EXTRACTING AS MUCH MONEY AS WE HAVE BEEN FROM THESE FUCKING RETARDS WE BETTER ACTUALLY MAKE OUR PRICES SOMEWHAT ""REASONABLE"""
30 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
Not s fan of nvidia but it is a good move to drop price on things that you will no longer support. And truth is, people still buy them and think to themselves, what a great deal.

To each his own, but many people have turned away from the company because of their practice.
>>
>>55119636
bump so you stupid autistic cunts that are incapable of reading into how other people perceive you or feel about you realise hopefully

these people extract money from you and that is it

they are like the chinese

they will fuck you over and try "win" every situation they can. you are not equal to these people. they do not like you. the chinese and nvidia i mean.
>>
>>55119816
to these people, if you have a ""fair deal"" they regard that as a LOSS

if they are not RIPPING YOU OFF THEY CONSIDER IT A LOSS

WAKE UP NVIDIOTS
