Is there a program that can find all pictures on my hard drive and identify the ones with bicycles?
Wouldn't it be easier to make a program that displays every image on your hard drive and you quickly press Y or N if it's a bike picture?
>>55130092
Yes
Why do lolis oppose freeware? Are they shilling for the botnet?

Is it just me, or is this an insane amount of work to ask a candidate to do as an early part of the interview process? I am a back-end developer, so I will pass on this opportunity, but is this the type of stuff that a front-end developer has to put up with just to move forward in the interview process?
All this work, if done properly, seems like it would easily ruin my entire weekend if I attempted this "case study". How long do you think it would take you to complete this exercise? Is a company justified in using such a lengthy task as part of their weed-out process, or should potential candidates tell them to go fuck themselves?
>>55129824
The task is easy especially if they let you use any front-end framework for MVVM/MVC/etc.
The actual work is all that modeling shit at the bottom, it separates the codemonkeys from the people who know how to formalize and work properly in a professional environment
>>55129866
To clarify further, point 2 is easy as it pretty much encapsulates the work you need for the tast, point 3 is laughably easy if you've done any querying, point 1 is work
If you are getting paid why not
>Microsoft is on a roll this week. After announcing on Monday its plans to acquire business social networking site LinkedIn for $26.2 billion, Microsoft is now getting into the legal marijuana industry.
>The company announced that it is partnering up with KIND Financial, a Los Angeles-based marijuana startup, to track pot growth from seed to sale.
>The two companies will collaborate on software that helps governments track and trace legal marijuana, according to a press release that came out on Thursday. The software will run on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform.
>“The goal of this relationship is to leverage each company’s resources to provide State, County, and Municipalities with purpose built solutions for track and trace (‘seed to sale’ in the cannabis industry) technology,” KIND said in a statement released on Thursday.
>The venture is significant, as the New York Times points out, because Microsoft is the first major corporation to throw its weight behind the legal marijuana industry and “[break] the corporate taboo on pot.”

for years, I gloated at third worlders, sitting comfortable knowing I could always get stuff for cheap, I even used to ship things down to the US and pick them up for hundreds less because of our powerful dollar. now I know the pain, I'm sorry.
Well, the Dollar is more powerful than it ever was.
That doesn't do well for domestic prices, huh?

I can teach you to code. I can't guarantee it will do anything or be of any use though. But that's just how it works.

>>55129306
Apparently not tripping if that's legit. Da fuk?
>>55129306
Considering how fast Edge is, if their adblock is legit I might have to start using it as my main browser.
>>55129352
Edge is shit.
