my best guess is that you should do this:
1. learn where all the keys are
2. start using only the middle row to create words like "fag" or "bass" and so on, get a feeling where your fingers are on the middle row and what fingers you want to use/feel most comfortable using
3. start using the top row next.. making combinations of top and middle row
4. start using bottom too

i dont know what the fuck this picture is about. i could never use my left ring finger to hit the x. it would kill my hand. i use my left pointer for the x actually, for example.

When I say I'm familiar with Linux, I don't claim to know the ins and outs of the system. I'm familiar with the terminal and that's about it. I know more than the average Ubuntu user probably, but that's not much of an achievement. If anything, Arch has taught me how to troubleshoot problems that occasionally pop up.

I think "learning how Linux works" by installing Arch from the terminal is overselling it. It's just following instructions from wiki, that's all.

Gentoo is amazing. I can have multiple conflicting versions of packages, or 64 and 32 bit libraries at once. If you've ever had to deal with dependency issues with packages you'll know why this is awesome.

Also being able to manually include (or exclude) certain features from any package or your kernel is extremely useful. For example, I was able to simply remove the SSL heartbeat extension and recompile my packages when the heartbleed vuln came out.

Marshmallow ran worse on my Nexus 5, but then I installed purity rom, performance was just as smooth, but battery life was better.

That's why I'll upgrade to this year's nexus, can't do that shit on windows phone or iPhone.
