It's what it is.
Personally I prefer FreeNAS and ZFS+VirtualBox Jails.
Hey /g/, I'm building a new computer and I'm just getting plain bored waiting for the last package to arrive, since it's going to be Monday. So I decided to say fuck it and skip to showing off now. A couple sticks of RAM aren't that special anyway.
Now let's get started.

here its not very clear since relations between 14+ girls and 18+ guys are common but some kind of tabu (everybody know that happens or know some guy who knows a guy) and of course are legally penalized but again people rarely denounce it, about cheesy pizza in my short life i only remember seeing 2 people in the news being arrested for that, also pirating is very profitable, and the police only get your ass when you dont pay your fee to the cartel, besides of that you could download the entire universal library of movies without problem

What the fuck, Xubuntu used to be cool. I don't know what happened but it's fucking trash now. All the same bugs on my other laptop and my desktop, too. 16.04 can suck my turgid cock, LTS my ass.
Might finally have to try CLD or--ye gods--Arch.
Did you also get the bug where the whisker menu button turns into a black box when moving tabs around?
>>55125497
I would honestly try mate. It's been rock solid for me. I always had problems with XFCE.
I have not been able to have a stable experience with any 16.04 so far. And I remember using 14.04 and 15.04 without issues.
I need help identifying this audio software.

Maybe a new sony camera. If the a6300 drops below 1k im getting it.
I don't really need anything to be honest.

>>55125217
Valid points. KDE is shit anyway, so i'll stick with XFCE and GTK applications for now.
Or better yet, drop the DE and just use a WM only.
>>55125217
>no filepicker
GTK has a file-picker. A pre-created file dialog.
>removing features all the time
Name some removed features.
>gtk themes breaks every releases
The CSS theming API is considered stable now. Either use the default theme or a theme which keeps up with the toolkit its being built for.

You're an idiot, but explaining to you why you are would be wasted on you.
What Linux desktop environment would /g/ suggest for a Thinkpad x230 i-5?
xfeces is the comfiest desu
>>55125112
What's the notable difference between xfce, ldxe, and kde? I've only used xfce of the three and it seemed fine
So far I've gathered xfce is lightweight
And kde has a lot of functionality at the cost of some bloat
The rest are unimportant
I travel a lot and like listening to audio rips from youtube so I can listen without have a network connection.
I used to use a capture program that is now broken, so what would you all recommend to replace it? I use the current version of firefox.
192kbps rips would be great but it's not a requirement

Can it strip audio without downloading the whole video?
Right now my video ripper still works so I can download the video then use an editor to save just the audio but I'm looking to save myself some steps.
Thanks for the info
