Ok so I just finished my build with a 750D airflow case.
Now I've been reading a lot about fans. Mainly because I wanna prevent as much dust as possible.
After watching vids and readin I've started to doubt myself because I originally thought that I was actually creating a non-negative pressure enviroment while in reality in doing the opposite.
my original plan:
As for intakes...
Front; 2 AF 140s w/ "low resistant dust filters(it's basically a fucking screen)" that comes with the case and a silver stone tec 140mmx2 dust filter (the long one)
Bottom: 1 AF 120 w/ dust filter
As for exhaust...
Back: 1 AF 140
Top: 2 STatic pressure 140fans
I'm 90% sure that this will create a negative pressure. If so what can I do to make it positive?
As much as possible I would like to have fans at the top. I dunno I just want to...
[spoiler]pls no bully I already cancelled my order of 3 AF 140 2 times from Amazon, pretty sure they hate me right now[spoiler]
Remove 1 exhaust fan. Or run them at lower rpm.
>tfw on a desktop with no fans (except the CPU)

So I should keep the SP 140s as exhaust on top? And just remove the back one?

stop it
?
Not really possible, but very freaky.
On a particular app I use, I'm seeing an increasing number of short (15-30 seconds) video ads for a political candidate who I don't like; I'm usually allowed to skip these ads after a few seconds
Do I need to let these ads run to the end in order for the candidate to have to pay up for their "viewing", or is it sufficient just to reach the skip point
Pic unrelated

How are you seeing ads?

Is it true that GTX 1080 and 1070 will get price cuts by the time GTX 1080 Ti will be released?
Did the 780/980 get price cuts?
>>55502614
Yup.
>>55502614
yeah probably.
What the fuck is cognitive computing? Is it just IBM desperately trying to stay relevant or is it really going to change everything?
>>55502486
It's pretty big, they're already using to cure cancer and shit.
>Cognitive computing is the simulation of human thought processes in a computerized model. Cognitive computing involves self-learning systems that use data mining, pattern recognition and natural language processing to mimic the way the human brain works.
Thanks google.

Why didn't they use JavaScript?
>>55502688
A JavaScript interpreter would probably take more Memory and disk space than what was available.

New to IRC, where do I join and how do I fit in in random channels?

lol are you born 2000 ?
lurk a bit and see how people interact if you're uncomfortable just joining and chatting immediately.
>>55502424
He is implying that irc is dead and you shouldn't bother trying to join one.
Does anyone know if you can install the new marshmallow OS on a Galaxy Note 3?

Hey /g/anstas,
I'm looking through Newegg for a good pre built gaming pc, I'm trying to get a average priced one that I can still upgrade as time goes on. I'm looking for some opinions on what you guys look for now a days, I'm not very update on what's good anymore, and any advice on where I should look. Any help is very appreciated!
>>55502199
Fuck off you casual faggot.
Google was made for your kind
Look at the sticky wiki
Go to desktop building guide
Do research, there is no way around this. For gaming most of your info should be about CPU/GPU and a bit of mobile as well
Learn about the components so you will always have the knowledge for the future
Also expect to buy from multiple retailers for the best value
You're going to catch shit for threads like these. If you get confused about something, try /sqt/ here on /g/

>a bit of mobile
Sorry, meant a bit of mobo
>Turn off monitor
>Computer thinks I've pulled the DisplayPort cable
When the fuck is Nvidia gonna fix this stupid problem?
you turn off your monitor? like with the power button?
>>55502112
Apparently this is the way it is supposed to work with DisplayPort.
Power off monitor = complete disconnection from Windows. (With that USB sound effect and all)
Fucks up multi-monitor setups.
Sounds like you need a new case
nvidia cucked thread
soldered phases to the pcb
no 6 pin connector on the pcb
no sli
not a single way to get rid of the horrendous refrence cooler
pracictly zero chance to have a stable overclock room

>Probably doesn't know how to solder

Guys, what's going on?
How can the Twitter CEO get hacked?
Is twitter security really that shitty?
Should they install gentoo?
>>55501865
Rough guess is that 80% of modern "hacking" (or more) is done via social engineering.
>>55501865
As I recall it's because phone companies have shit security and apathetic staff. Thyere just calling and pretending to be employees and they get SIM cards with their targets numbers front here is pretty easy with two step verification.
>>55501953
>>55501973
Yeah, I watched h3h3's video on this.
Sounds shady as fuck.
Any tips/ introduction to grey and a little black hat hacking for a noob?
>>55501853
Eli the computer guy's youtube channel had some nice introductory info but I don't remember him showing how specific attacks work. It may help you at least decide which questions to ask next.

All these languages, including ASM and how low level languages work are essential if you want to be well rounded.
