How would one go about making a Tor site that's as secure as it can get? You know, for selling stuff... in a niche area.
As far as I know most people get busted because of pure stupidity like not encrypting, money transfer, etc.
I have reasonable experience in doing everything software related for this, but not in actual security. Last thing I remember learning about this in school were SQL injections and methods like that. What books or resources should I look into?
In what country should I put the server and how do I secure them?

Asking this on a taiwanese home cooking board shows you don't know what the fuck you're doing and that means you're pretty much guaranteed to get caught. Give it up, don't become the next dpr.

While my headphones are good, I finally want to get myself speakers and have the full experience. The problem is, I have no idea what to look for.

All I know is that they should have decent sound quality and lots of bass. My budget is around 300€. I'm fully aware that I can't expect a lot for that amount money.

I want to put them on my desk and ideally connect them to my PC. Do I need anything else besides the speakers themselves?

Also, here's a list of different speaker types from Thomann. What's the right category for me?
Passive PA-Sets
Active PA-Sets
Passive Full-Range Loudspeakers
Column systems
Active Full-Range Loudspeakers
Passive Stage Monitors
Active Stage Monitors
Active Subwoofers
Passive Subwoofers
Small Loudspeakers for Installations
Mid-Hi Loudspeakers
Line Arrays
Battery Operated Loudspeaker Systems
Accessories for Battery Operated Loudspeakers
Installation Loudspeakers
Covers for Loudspeakers
Loudspeaker Components

Thanks for any replies.

Just get Active Speakers + an Audio Interface.

Look for JBL LSR305 and Steinberg UR22 MK2
>>
Active Stage Monitors - 2.0 setup
Audio Interface

Iam currently looking for the same setup, also from germany.
Lets bump it up.
>>
>>55505029
>Lots of bass

Wrong. You want as flat of a frequency response as you can get. Subs are overrated and unnecessary, but if you like shitty sound by all means go with something with a sub. If you're looking for quality then go with active full range speakers.

Whats /g/s opinion on pci express ssds?
49 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
Idea is decent, in practice it doesn't work because booting from PCI-E is either impossible or a massive pain in the ass.

The SSDs aren't really fast enough to take advantage of PCI-E's bandwidth, either.

I have an intel 750, there is an optimization I haven't done for it which may yield higher reads/writes, but so far:

dd if=/dev/zero of=~/temp.file bs=1M count=10240 conv=fdatasync,notrunc status=progress
10468982784 bytes (10 GB, 9.8 GiB) copied, 12.0933 s, 866 MB/s
10240+0 records in
10240+0 records out
10737418240 bytes (11 GB, 10 GiB) copied, 12.966 s, 828 MB/s

$ dd if=temp.file of=/dev/null bs=1M count=10240 status=progress
10180624384 bytes (10 GB, 9.5 GiB) copied, 8.0003 s, 1.3 GB/s
10240+0 records in
10240+0 records out
10737418240 bytes (11 GB, 10 GiB) copied, 8.42474 s, 1.3 GB/s

I'm enjoying it so far. Great VM load times.

Memes aside how is the OP3? I currently have a nexus 4. Should I wait for the new nexus or consider 6p instead? (PS: I live in Europe so nexus prices are higher )

OnePlus has terrible customer service and refuses to replace defective units. The new Nexuses will be out in a couple months so I'd wait for that.

What's the hardest IT job overall? Or one that commands the most respect?

I think I'd have to say DBA.

>requires a wide breadth of knowledge from various technology fields and some very specific knowledge. Can take a very long time before you're considered a "good DBA"
>responsibility is huge since you're responsible for a client's data
>little to no room for errors or mistakes
>requires very good communication skills as you have to work with a variety of technology or business professionals
>can't afford downtime since a majority of applications are very dependent on databases... if it occurs databases must be brought back up ASAP

What do you think?

Critical incident manager.

Somewhere between herding kittens and trying to outsmart raptors.

>Or one that commands the most respect?
Data center manager.

Want to play games? Get your shit out of my data center. On, and I'm the DCM, so you're going to have to run that lab in your office, because you're not running it here.
>>
>>55504976
Incident management definitely seems stressful. I'd probably hate the job after a couple of years.
>>
>>55504953
I know it's not the hardest, but online tech support can be rough sometimes, since it combines many aspects of call centre work with tech support, with the added difficulty that you don't have the machine within reach to look at and work on yourself.

You roll with it though, and I get to work from home. Thinking of applying to Lockheed Martin though, they looking for people locally and probably have a great benefits package.

Is there a full solution compatible with a Windows domain and latest versions of Winblows out there? Getting a chance to swap out a client's ancient Win 2k3 server with a new server I can run ESX. Figure I can get them away from Windows Server expensive licensing, if only AD services work.

Why haven't you uninstalled the Google-created rootkit spyware that is Google Play Services, /g/?

Don't you know that Google Play Service has access to everything on your phone and can read whatever shows up in your notifications?

Why do you try to "avoid the botnet" when you still run a system-level Google rootkit on your phone? Because you need to watch those funny Youtube videos?

Hey /g/,
I'm installing ubuntu and have little to no idea about how linux commands or anything in linux work.
Where do I start?

>>
You should install a VM of your Linux flavor of choice with the CLI only. Learn how the OS actually works underneath, and then work your way into the GUI side of it.
