Can someone enlighten me with some legitimate info with sources on how much
Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, Linux, etc. are in the governements pocket?
>>55497758
"No Place to Hide" is a decent book about how cucked Amerifats really are by their own spy agency.
Google and Microsoft are fully sold to the agencies, there is zero doubt about that. Linux, even the most "secure" distro, won't help. The backdoor is at the hardware level of your computer/laptop. It is accessible by agencies, if needed.
Basically, if you have a cellphone and an internet connection, assume that you are vulnerable.
>>55497758
No I can't.
I will speculate.
There are no tech giant corporations and there are no governments.
There is only one entity: The techno-info-industrial-complex.
One interconnected sector that serves multiple parties and multiple agendas.
It is for the Elite to try and extend CONTROL of a dying system.
Globalisation is failing and nationalism rising, Peak Oil, Debt spirals, global ecological collapse, mental health epidemic, cancer epidemic, unemployment by automation, etc...
The poor poor rich people can feel the terror seeping in, they know their puppets will cut their strings very shortly and be very angry.
They can only see one way forward: more of what isn't working: more control, more spying, more violence, more debt, more centralisation.
The global human civilisation is being lead about by the memes of Separation, Fear, Control, Domination. Only once those are shed and replaced with Interconnection, Love, Compassion, and Partnership can Humanity escape the hole we've dug.

How much weed did you smoke today?
Tell me about the first time you got a /g/ related job.
How was it?
It was like the first time I had sex.
>>55497844
Don't worry anon, you'll find a job eventually.
>>55497876
The question is will you work for the job or will the job work for you?!
I'm going to immerse myself in an ecosystem.
Which one should I choose. Bear in mind, freedom means nothing to me. The catch is I can only use the chosen companies products.
Linux ecosystem.
Google for sure.

Is there any way to keep skin oil from eventually wearing down at mice? I'm not talking super gross worn down, but noticeably enough that it feels smoother than it should be. I only ever really notice it on the left mouse button. I wash my hands fairly often, is it just an eventuality?
>>55497503
I have that mouse, it's fucking great.

I often think about how if we were as hairy as gorillas how different our day to day lives would be due to the sheer amount of hair clogging up air filtration systems etc

You're not hacker enough if you can't read code better than English. Readmes are for n00bs
I need to revive a 1070 thread that got archived since I'm torn between a 1070 and a 480 for wqhd. Decent overclocking capabilities of custon 480 with 8 pin connectors could bring it on 290x levels being adequate for 1440p. Meanwhile reviewers say a 1070 is the sweet spot.

>ITT: One guy asks for purchasing advice on a 1070 and a bunch of AMDrones spread FUD.
>AMD's worst element is their rabid fanmob.
Enlight me.
AMD does some things right as much as Nvidia. But Nvidia seems a bit like Apple charging premium and marketing some things as innovation and mainly their own invention that's just a standard while attempting to lock out AMD's ability to get involved with developers. This results into better aging AMD cards getting optimized and better performance over months and Nvidia cards blowing away AMD at release. I ain't telling news, the current situation is a result of Nvidia's aggressive strategie of the last years.
The problem is AMD didn't publish a upper midrange card this year, so anyone who wants top performance seems to buy Nvidia products...
Wait for Vega?
>>55497407
>Enlight me.
I think you meant "enlighten me?"
>Wait for Vega?
The waiting game never ends. Just take the recent 1070 to 480 to 1060 episode. The 1070 was launched and people here (AMDrones?) were saying wait for the 480. It'll be close to the 1070 and cost half as much.
A couple of weeks pass and we get benchmarks of the 480 and it is nowhere close except in a couple of AMD-centric games. Some people (nvidiots?) if you want want a cheap card then wait for the 1060.
There is always something new and great coming. If you wait for the next one you might as well wait for the next one. Just get the best video card you can afford at the time you are shopping for it unless there is a new card that is officially coming out in the next couple of weeks.
>>55497407
Purchase.
>>55497407
Always buy Nvidia products my friend. AMD is for poorfags only. Their recent product launch killed thousands of motherboards and the upcoming class action suit may put them out of business for good, meaning no more support or drivers. It's just not worth the risk. A real shame, but that's reality.
>AMD doesn't even have drivers for Linux 16.04 yet
