Is there a way to split screen on 1 monitor that display images from 2 different source?

My PC and PS4 are hooked up to the same monitor, however when I play a game that dont require much attention, I tend to switch to my pc and watch a movie or surf the web. However, switching the display from PS4 and PC back and forth gets annoying after a while. I just want a split screen that show my PC and PS4 at the same time. Is it possible? pic not related

Putting a space in your passwords, is this a good idea?

If I made a password like " 4chanisgay69" or "4chan isgay 69" would it make any difference to the difficulty of cracking it?

No, because a bruteforcing-tool will try a blank first. It can buy u a few seconds in some cases but...not worth the effort. Better try a long one. With uppercase and numbers in between. A long psw like "ilikeponysandiamproudofit" is also pretty hard because the tool has to try 25 times 36(numbers in Alphabet) to get it right.

This has probably been debated before, but now I'm in the market for a new monitor and need /g/'s advice!

I have a new custom rig coming soon, focused around the GTX 1080, so I was trying to decide on a 4k monitor.

Of course, research led me to seriously consider a 1440p, 144hz, gsync monitor instead.

Any suggestions on a 27-28" monitor that will be gorgeous, and fully maximize the performance of a high end rig?

Oh, also, how do the ultra wide like, 32 inch monitors work? Do games include native resolution to fill out the screen instead of stretching it and being ugly?
>>
PG279Q or XB271HU.

Both of these are the best gaming panels on the market at the moment, but they are a lottery, the Acer seems to have a better chance of getting a better panel, but the Asus seems like the better unit overall.

Ultrawide isn't worth it, too many compatibility issues and the refresh rate could be better.
>>
>>56098863
I think these are the two that kept popping up the most in my research.

I rather like the PG279Q, but have to definitely think before dropping $900 on a monitor.

So I've been thinking lately /g/. If majority of programming is meant for communications and media consumption, why the fuck do people constantly talk about getting into it? Fucking IT guys glorified telephone operators of the 21st century. Almost majority of tech jobs fall into these categories and the maintenance of them.

So why the hell do you want to be a programmer? Hackers lied to you, the matrix lied to you, all the anime lied to you! Wake up! There is no point in going into such a shitty boring field.

Depends on what you're using it for. I don't see why it couldn't, especially if you're handy enough to get a 1080p screen in there.

When will WCD finally enforce directory naming standards so I don't have a parent directory full of pic related?

No, just enforce strict directory naming conventions. I have 7 years worth of torrents from WCD and I've switched torrent clients a couple times. Renaming directories means a fuckton more work.
