4chan Pass is technology.
Why haven't you paid to bypass captcha? It's less than a bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red per month.
I used to write shitposts and then not hit submit because of the minimal effort required to verify. Now I can shitpost to my heart's content without anything slowing me down or making me second guess myself!

Can also use a VPN a shitpost all day.

guys, I want to enter college and study software engineering.
my dream was to make videogames, but the more I learn about the industry, the more shitty it seems, it's like too much effort, peanuts pay, literally playing the lotto on that.
Are there any other ways to mix coding, music, art, writing that isn't videogames?
don't fall for the computer related major meme

Assuming similar cooling conditions on various case sizes (say mini, mid and full tower for instance), which would theoretically provide the most effective cooling? Taking component position, airflow and possibility of hot pockets into account
>Me and my son, etc.
>>56598217
>possibility of hot pockets
:-----DDDD
>>56598217
Larger case -> More fans+bigger fans -> more airflow
Larger case -> easier cable management -> potentially more airflow
Both of those cases suck. They're made by Cooler Master.
Should I upgrade from 1050p to 1080p?

I paid $190 for a computer keyboard (Filco Majestouch 2). Am I an idiot?
It arrived today. Which was very early. But at that price...
>>56597906
be glad you didn't spent it on an apple product.
>>56597911
Yes, that would suck. NIce dubs.
>>56597906
Yes, you're an idiot.
Mechanical Keyboards offer no advantages and they're a retarded meme fueled by the idiocy of the gayming community (which polutes this shitty board hence why all the mech keyboard threads).
Hey /g/,
I really liked the show at the beginning of the first season. It was technically accurate (I'm a software dev), had a good story, was well-paced, and was generally well shot.
But towards the end of the season, they introduced all that hallucination bullshit and I stopped watching after S01E09.
I've heard S02 is pretty good. Should I restart watching? Is it more of the same hallucination bullshit or is there some actual story?
desu, nothing happened in s2
also, again trippin balls

Hey /g/, I bought a chromebook for college because it was a cheap $160. Probably not the best choice but it'll do what I need. After doing some research I learned that you can put windows 10 on a chromebook, but the real question is SHOULD I put win 10 on it?
>>56597680
>SHOULD I put win 10 on [my chromebook]
sage
>>56597680
Why?
Chrome OS is good enough for a portable netbook experience.
>>56597704
Curiosity. Plus I like win 10 better
Not sure if this is the right place to ask.
Need to get a coffee machine for work, but don't want to spend more then $150 AUD. Suggestions? Preferably an espresso machine with a frothing wand.
Got pic related at home, it's actually pretty great but I can only find them second hand.
>>56597677
Second hand is your friend if you're looking to spend under $300 AUD
>>56597677
For your budget, go for the "single pot" type machine. The one you have in the OP will be very expensive: $1000+

I know it can sound kind of obvious but
if we make most "smart things" run on android,
wont it eventually end as the main OS for companion robots?
>tfw no qt robot gf to ask you for permissions
What's your definition of "smart" things? Because most IoT things don't run Android.

Is a Dell UlstraSharp a good choice? I need it to be IPS for multimedia/graphic shit. Or should I be looking into a Viewsonic?
How come so many of you guys get mad when people post beautiful terminals and Linux desktops? Is it because Microsoft is paying you to discourage this type of behavior because it makes Windows look bad?

Ever heard of the expression "putting makeup on a pig"?
>>56597616
Yeah, it's what Apple does.
Is there any way to temporarily disable secondary monitor without physically pulling out the hdmi cable?
I have to unplug it every time i play games, and plug it back when i stop, so that's quite annoying.
>>56597521
you can always cut the cable.
i have to do that with gzdoom, eventually i realized i can just go to display settings and click disable from the extend/mirror/w/e options
python 4.0 when?
inb4
>python 2.x just werks
>>56597476
>version numbers aren't just a meme at this point
seriously, point me to ONE major advantage that py3 has over py2
Probably not for a while.
Python 4.0 needs to be backwards compatible with python 2 (and maybe 3 as well but i'm not sure if it's worth the effort for that).
>>56597476
I have never found myself in a situation where I thought python 2.7 was lacking a feature.
It just werks
