Lauri Love has lost his court case against extradition to the US to face hacking charges.
Love was indicted in US courts in 2013 after it emerged that he had hacked into servers at the Federal Reserve, NASA, Missile Defence Agency and the US Army as part of hacker group known as Anonymous.
He and his doctors have consistently argued in extradition hearings that he should not be extradited to the US from his home in south-eastern England because he suffers from Asperger syndrome and depression. Love has repeatedly told the media that he would rather commit suicide than face trial in America.
He could face up to 99 years in jail if convicted in a US court. He is likely to be charged under the Computer Fraud and Abuse act and to face federal trials in New York, New Jersey and Virginia.
Love's assistants maintain that his life would be in danger if he was extradited. They intend to appeal the decision, which would be heard at the Ministry of Interior.
The case against him in Britain, where Love is also a citizen, has not moved foreward.

99 years for hacking. Seems absolutely reasonable and not irrational at all.
Fucker should be glad he's not getting death penalty.
He should say in the UK, if he goes to the US the government will say he he is suddenly 'missing'

yes ..
use AfWall + to block this shit

Or use a built-in Privacy guard (if you're on CM or an AOSP based ROM) to deny internet access.

Yo /g/, is there a cheap GPU just for internet browsing, watching videos and Office? No gaming.
Get the cheapest APU you can find

They're called integrated GPUs and they come with your CPU if you don't cheap out on it.
I already have a CPU, I just need a cheap GPU to run this computer.
Is Kali a smart choice for a Linux beginner? A shop clerk just reccommended me Kali and I am thinking of giving it a shot. I never used Linux before, but I am advanced Windows and Android user and I am willing to join the masterrace.
>>56632991
>I never used Linux
Kali isn't a beginner distro. It's just debian/ubuntu with pentesting packages preinstalled. It's not really meant to be used as a daily driver. *buntus, debian or mint would be better for you especially if you are a beginner.
>>56633023
This
Absolutely not. Kali is a special purpose distribution which is only useful for penetration testing.
For general use, I'd recommend Debian or Fedora.
Ubuntu if you can put up with some quirks for additional ease of use.
Do not use Mint or other hobbyist projects and don't let yourself get talked into Arch, Gentoo, Slackware or other distributions for advanced users until you actually are an advanced user.
People who do 3D work, do you have one of these? Do you like it? Is there an alternative? I will be using this with Inventor Pro.
yea, i have a SpacePilot which i use with solidworks
it's awesome, you can move naturally to any kind of view or angle you like
also great for showing off the model to your boss or clients, as you can fly around the model smoothly like a demo
>>56632945
Yeah we've got those in our class. Pretty useful desu
Yup, have SpacePilot too, but the in-kernel drivers are at best workable, so not using it to its potential.
So are we really pretending like Apple weren't the first ones to innovate on self a destructing battery technology? Why can't anyone ever give Apple credit when it is due?

Exploding batteries existed since batteries existed. It was usually a rare event. But Samsung brought it to the masses with their Note 7.
If i have two computers connected to the same router which provides internet, can whoever has access to the router control panel see the internet browsing history of the computers? Can i see which IP addresses each computer has "connected" to, either via visiting a website in a browser or torrenting etc?
Asking because i might be moving in with someone and i dont want them snooping around knowing about my scat/shemale/extreme fisting fetishes etc

Also i have the option to use Ethernet wire if that helps.
they'll know your local ip and so likely man in the middle attack, look into anti-arp software

- First of all you should disconnect all your electronic devices.
- To avoid the problem that you're mention you should delete this folder:

Are you satisfied with those monitors? Do you think '27 model would be preferable?
>>56632940
Very satisfied and the price difference between the 25" and 27" is pretty stupid, 117PPI vs 109PPI, it's not as if the 25" is drastically different, just slightly sharper.
Also, at the time I bought them I had a much smaller desk and 27" wouldn't have fit. But even if I were buying today, i'd still probably buy these again if they were the same price. (I paid $265 each) they go for around $280 right now but were $330 at amazon the time I bought.
27" might be preferable if you have the room, but 25" isn't really any worse, it's not really a compromise, just getting a slightly sharper image and a tiny bit less screen.
If I could find a 27" for the same price I got these 25" at, sure I'd probably do it. But I wouldn't spend more than $25-50 more for the 2".

Can anyone explain the chromium meme? Is it better than firefox? Isn't it just a botnet?
>>56632524
Not a botnet if you use ungoogled chromium or iridium.
Or even less botnet if you run gentoo and apply both patch sets.
>>56632524
It's just "chrome but open source"
Which for some reason makes it run slower so that take as you will.
You're using the internet. You're already part of the botnet whether you like it or not. Might as well just use Canary/Nightly for the convenient updater.
