RPM distros rule the servers
>>58083959
>compete with Debian
They dont need to compete. They are debian.
Linux distros don't compete with each other
Even Linux Mint embraces Ubuntu for what it is
I am buying a raspberry pi 3 and debating which distro to get to put on it. I am thinking Kali because I am an extremely curious person and like learning new technologies(hacking for good or simple curiosity). What do you guys consider good distros for anonymity unlike Ubuntu?
hannah montana linux

OSX or W10 is best m8

Install Gentoo
>switch from iPhone 5s to samsung j7
>immediately notice extremely accurate colors on the screen, blacks are 100% black no matter the brightness
>phone doesn't crash after using a few apps at the same time
>can directly store any file type I want to through usb or wifi without installing drivers
>photos
>only charge my phone every 2 days instead of 2 times a day despite being on lte and calling people for at least an hour a day
Holy shit /g/, I had no idea Android phones were this good.
just wait a year or so
you'll change your mind :^)
>>58083942
For what, an iPhone that requires an adapter to be able to take photos and another adapter to be able to take videos?
I honestly believe apple died with steve jobs. It's just farce after farce now. Wish I would gave never bought my 16GB 5s desu, paid $400 for it too.

Is it humanly possible to design an airliner that doesn't break up upon collision with the ground?
>>58083824
You do realize most airliners don't break up when they hit the ground right? They have this thing called landing gear.
>>58083824
it would be a heavy plane
>>58083824
t. mad pilot who doesn't know how to land an aircraft
lurk more fag you have to use your landing gear
Good evening, everyone, how are you doing?
I'm sorry if this comes as a dumbquestion, but that is because i dont know much about hardwares.
I'm going to buy a new notebook, and i'm left wondering: how much of a difference is there between a
6th gen Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ (Quad Core, 2.50 GHz expansible up to 3.2 GHz, Cache 6M)
And an
6th gen Intel Core i5-6300HQ (3M Cache,2.3GHz up to 3.2 GHz with Max Turbo)
This is all the information the stores offer me, and the rest of the machine setup will be the same. The second optionis way cheaper, and so i'm wondering how much am i to lose if i get it rather than the first one.
Thanks!
>>58083781
So, i checked with a friend of mine, and he told me that, since they are both the same model (6300HQ), one of the websites had their description wrong, and the real one should be the one described in the intel website. I went over there and, in fact, it confirmed the first option.
Do you guys agree with that?
They're the same shit.
>>58084014
yeah agreed
The Logitech Z623 are the best speakers for under $100, no question.
>>58083778
Good for you, but quite frankly I personally don't give a shit.
>>58083778
Logitech speakers are garbage.
Some $10 speakers you got second hand + a cheap amp would be way better.
>>58083792
Sounds like you give a shit, dipshit.
Oioi, I'm moving to Australia from the UK, and im just wondering if this will work in the plug sockets there. Apparently the rest of the Internet is useless for finding this out.
It will not. You'll need to pick up a batch of these fuckers m8.
>>58083784

Ahh no worries, cheers lads

Why the fuck don't any new phones have replaceable batteries and SD cards and shit?
I'm on a Note 4 and it's objectively better than the shit I'm seeing on the market in this regard. These companies, they went backwards.
Why?
>>58083624
Because money
>>58083648
>Because money
How is it profitable to discourage me from buying a new phone by making the new ones shittier? No comprende m8
>>58083721
You are a minority even aming your kind. 64GB is plenty for most
you wouldn't swap your sdcard just because you want to listen the n-z named musicians anyway, you would get the 128 GB version.

I've been looking into distros that respect my freedoms. Is Trisquel any good? Anything better?
>>58083527
>Trisquel
uh yeah I would suggest choosing a distro that doesn't sned all ur data back to srevers like ubuntu linux. its 1 of the cleanest operating system out there almost as good as mac OS

what did he mean by this
>>58083636

I have been wanting to install Xubuntu on my machine but nothing has worked so far!
Every time I try to boot from the USB it takes me to the menu where I choose what I want to do.
I select Try without installing and it then shows me a Xubuntu loading screen for a second and it then black screens.
Gonna just install Ubuntu if I can't get it working.
OK

>have been wanting

Sorry I am high :(
An Xbox One is easy to beat spec-wise with any rig. My question is; can you get better specs and performance for less than $250? (Price of an Xbox One)
>>58083337
not new but xbox live costs $60 a year and the games are expensive too
>a locked down game console with hardware-targeted developed games is cheap
>a general purpose computer with an overpriced graphics card is expensive
There. There's the thread. You can leave now.
>>58083353
You can get good games for $20 and who the fuck even wants Xbox live
Why do people pay so much for nvidia cards again ? Especially in the <$400 range ? They disappoint time and time again.

Nvidia cards run stable while AMD cards keep crashing the PC.
>>58083330
So stable that you need a custom patch to stop your graphic card from burning down the house.

Probably because they're actually better and weirdly enough nobody can recreate those benchmarks and charts while actually recording and showing footage of it on youtube.
