most people who get gaming laptops are teenagers who just want to look cool, don't know what they really need from a computer.

New Mac pro's dont support normal video cards like the old ones did so why spend time creating drivers for hardware they dont use in their systems

If you're running PC hardware and you want an OS that supports that hardware, why not just use Windows?

They already did that with League of Legends back in 2010. Also, they just recently monetized it by adding in a premium subscription service that gives some pointless extra features, so my guess is that they were operating at a loss long enough to build market share, then cashing in. Also the creators previously made some mobile game, so I'm guessing they had at least some capital to work with, not to mention all the user data they sell.
