Which bit of meme technology should I waste ~£1000 on? Can only irresponsibly splurge on one.

WTF? If you've got £1000 to blow on a sound system you can run the wire through the fucking walls if you cannot be bothered to buy rugs.

That moment when you realise only 2 lines of code prevent everyone from snooping your site.
Do you honestly think that tech giants like google actually respect robots?
12 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
the only reason id ever respect a faggy robots.txt is if im releasing something public on github and even then if your site doesn't have a public api in 2017, to get the information i need im going to crawl it with different common user agents and varying proxies until you stop being a fucking idiot
>>
>>59378219
I don't have robots.txt, only X-Robots

robots.txt is actually deprecated. If you have it, Google will still index your page, but replacing all the pages with "This page can't be displayed due to robots.txt" etc. which completely defeats the point.

It's good to not have robots.txt
>>
>>59378280
You can see this with chiru.no. you can't google it and it has no robots.txt

What happened to KDE?
Their built in programs used to be amazing.
The perfect combination of quality and functionality.

Now their shit hasn't been updated in years.
Pic related is a perfect example.

Konqueror used to be the bees knees of browsers, now it barely renders the Google homepage.
You're forced to use Firefox if you want anything done, and it barely integrates into a KDE desktop.
Why did the KDE project stop making useful software and start focusing on changing their theme every ten minutes.

I'm talking about upstream.

Konqueror (the big one as web standards have shifted drastically in a few years) hasn't been updated since 2014. It's successors seem just about as dead.
Where programs are updated, many are still mostly unchanged since the switch to KDE4.

Critique this build, please. Tasked with putting together a gaming pc for $1400 that will be a solid gaming machine for at least the next four years. I have all eleven of these parts in a NewEgg cart for $1405 which includes the tax and shipping and rebates.

Personally I'd use a cheap tower heatsink, use the cheapest ssd, cheaper motherboard and move that money to the gpu. No way gtx 1060 will last 4 years.
>>
>>59377668
Get a cheaper motherboard, 2.5" drive instead of m.2, something like a 850 evo maybe, and a cheaper case. Then get a 1070. Also, an i7 will help if games get more multithreaded over the next 4 years.
>p.s. go to pcbg

Only a 1080ti will last four years.

I have a two-monitor setup on a machine running Windows 8.1. Whenever I open photoshop from monitor #1 it always opens in monitor #2. I can drag it back but it is really annoying since I use photoshop often. Why is it doing this? All my other programs open on the correct screen except this one.

Why not just contribute to free software?
They're going to just take that data and sell it without patching anything.

There are all these resources about hiding from the US agencies like the CIA and NSA, but what should I do/use to hide from the Chinese government?

I'm on a dm-crypt encrypted Ubuntu with dnscrypt configured. I also have all the usual things like HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock with all the privacy lists. Am I safe enough if I need to travel to China?

If you're going to travel to China then don't be a fucking retard. Buy some cheap chinkshit laptop that you don't care about losing and take it with you. Follow their laws instead of messing around with Tor, VPN or whatever so you end up working 50 years on a Chinese rice field.

i never developed a mobile app before, i have really cool idea that it think it will get popular when i make it.

It will use photos and uploading them(but just to temporary server ,only serves to user download related pic). until it get popular and i will have money to store them in server.

which language fits best for this job?

also im little tidbit about either making free with ads or 1$ on iOS , ads with Android also with free version

Java for Android studio
Swift for iOS
The language does not matter, it's more about learning the available tools and libraries.
