Critique this build, please. Tasked with putting together a gaming pc for $1400 that will be a solid gaming machine for at least the next four years. I have all eleven of these parts in a NewEgg cart for $1405 which includes the tax and shipping and rebates.

Personally I'd use a cheap tower heatsink, use the cheapest ssd, cheaper motherboard and move that money to the gpu. No way gtx 1060 will last 4 years.

Get a cheaper motherboard, 2.5" drive instead of m.2, something like a 850 evo maybe, and a cheaper case. Then get a 1070. Also, an i7 will help if games get more multithreaded over the next 4 years.
>p.s. go to pcbg

Only a 1080ti will last four years.

In the next two years your quad core will be outdated shit

Don't get a liquid cooler. Don't.

Your build is outright terrible. How do you make a low-end build for $1400?
Anyway, make this, it's silent and like, vastly more powerful than what you posted

That mobo might not post unless flashed

Oh, yeah, he should probably get a z270 just to avoid that, thank you
I guess he should get this instead then, same price
