plugins: Babel es6/es7, Oceanic Next Italics, Prettier - JavaScript formatter
Switched over from Sublime Text 3 with the same theme/font last week and haven't looked back. The terminal integration in this is top notch.

In university, the programming courses used pascal. I remember the horror of not having block-local variables. Totally blew a project once for failing to deal sensibly with this limitation.
