Easy mode? Technology has made life worse. Automation means less jobs. Social media and the 24/7 internet connection means less human relationships and more isolation. Internet hug-boxes mean people no longer think critically because they can always find an ingroup to validate their retarded ideas. Then there's the whole "assrape your privacy" deal.
I love technology, but it's like a smack addict that loves the thing that's killing him. The next few decades are going to be grim.
