What's the best webm viewer?
XnView could to this before, but not anymore for some reason.
chrome
you use chrome because you can't avoid spying anyway so who cares
then you just drag and drop the webm on the url bar
mpv

Viewer. Not player. I want to browse multiple webm files not watch single files.
Hey /g/ I'm upgrading from a 2500k. I'm getting either a 7700k or a 1800x. Give me your solid advice.
>>59463856
Fuck off back to /v/, cunt.
1700 is 100 mhz slower for much less $
I would still likely go with Intel tho
>>59463880

>All these clickbait articles about how Windows Vista is dying finally and how it was the worst and most hated Microsoft OS
It's like these people don't even remember Windows ME. Vista was much better as long as you had the RAM to run it.
you're dead inside sage desu
>>59463716
It was better but it was still pretty bad. The RAM requirements were awfully steep for the time. Aero was always crap. And they made UAC way too aggressive. It warned about absolutely everything, which meant that everyone just turned it off and ran as an administrator like they always had, defeating one of its main features.
it was shit, win xp came out a year later
in the year 2000 there were a lot less computers than 2007
the facebook boom made people buy laptops, at that time they came with vista installed so there's a lot of people who tried vista, but only a few who used me
I keep getting phone calls from Seattle Washington, as well as other places. I know they are scammers, because of the 206 area code. How do I get these homos to stop calling me?
>>59463656

Hey /g/, noob here. Pic related. I've been having extreme problems with my cpu temp, even though I've cleaned it out multiple times. This started about a week or two ago. I'm either really shitty at cleaning or my pc has a virus, but ccleaner isn't detecting jack shit. So the question is, should I system restore to a couple weeks ago or get it checked out professionally?
Edit: It ranges from 60-117. It's usually up in the 100s, though.
>>59463303
Have you tried any other temperature tools? I had an issue with Speccy where it would say my motherboard was over 100 degrees even though it wasn't. Normally your computer would shut down automatically if the CPU was actually that hot.
>>59463333
This. Check the bios first for temperatures. And if your temps are okay, it's speccy.
Underrated as fuck. prove me wrong
>>59463258
theres a blast from the past
10.4 is still the comfiest OS of all time only rivaled by OS9.2.2.
Using Python, how could I check for the pronunciation of certain consonants?
For example, say I had the words 'gate' & 'gestation. How would I check if the 'g' is a soft 'g' or a hard 'g'?
I assume that I'd have to have access to some kind of dictionary database that has a pronunciation column, but I'm wondering if there's any other solutions.
>>59463239
context. like the 'hardness' in the r in the word nigger
>>59463239
Looks like it's time to learn linguistics
Oh, and it doesn't necessarily have to be Python (it's the language i'm learning right now), I just want to know how you'd go about this problem in general.
Can crystals be turned into processors?
>>59463172
They already are
A silicon wafer is a slice of silicon crystal.
That's a big crystal.

Why do I see so many Linux users on laptops? Do they not trust running Linux on their desktop? Or is it just a hobby they play with in their spare time?
Why was Sun one of the greatest companies of all time?
>>59462944
I fucking hate Oracle. Done nothing but ruin Sun tech ever since the buyout.
>>59462944
They had a great logo.
>>59462944
they were going to bring a general purpose commercial UNIX to the masses that would have been capable of standing up to Windows in terms of market and userland compatibility
macOS is still a niche to this day.
