No, buses shouldn't exceed 60 except on the interstate, and only as properly marked

Depends on the highway . Slower traffic usually keeps on the right side though .

As far as I understand it, it seems like tons of crypto algorithms end up being vulnerable to various methods (including brute force) primarily because of the fact that our languages cannot be randomly jumbled up and still expected to yield a meaningful message.

So once they start noticing that they're able to produce grammatical English then the crackers know they've got something.

But what if there was a language in which every single possible combination of letters/words/heiroglyphs/whatever produced a valid grammatically correct statement within that language.
Then brute forcing would become useless because you could never tell when you've got something. Of course they could still maybe crack it by brute forcing entire chains of conversation at once and just manually verifying if each message makes contextual sense with each other. But that would be extremely difficult, and you could probably even avoid that by just talking in codes/riddles whatever and never reusing any of the same lingo the other person uses.
>But anon, you can do that with any encryption method
Yes, but if it's a natural language that's encrypted (say English) even if you talk in a confusing way they can still know that they've got the actual transmissions you've been sending back and forth. So then all that's left to do is interpret the messages.
With the type of language I described above however they could never truly know they have the right messages and they'd always know that their interpretation of the conversation might just be them interpreting random noise and finding meaning.

Of course this wouldn't work for sending any kind of data or files, because good luck creating an image encoding format where every single possible set of data produces a visually coherent image.
But still, it could work for brute-force-proofing plain text encryption (or at least making it much much more difficult).

>brings up problem
>"hey but what if there was this hypothetical method of encoding information so it would look like other information and not noise. Then we wouldn't have any problems!"
idiot
>>
>>60890420
I'm not talking about an encoding. I'm talking about creating an entire language to behave that way.

You wouldn't be able to just plug that shit in google translate, you'd have to actually sit down and learn a new language.
and it probably would be a very restrictive language too, not as expressive as natural languages are, but still.
I see no reason it isn't doable. In fact I think there's probably languages that exist today which come close.
>>
>>60890420
What the hell is even your point?

What's wrong with making noise look like information to throw red herrings at anyone trying to brute force something?

Hey /g/ my desktop is old and trash and I can't run any games on it anymore. I was thinking about buying:

https://www.amazon.com/CYBERPOWERPC-GLC4200A-Desktop-i7-7700K-7200RPM/dp/B01MRYJG25/ref=pd_lutyp_simh_1_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01MRYJG25&pd_rd_r=1Z306D2ENTRJZ4SGSDJM&pd_rd_w=TXUyY&pd_rd_wg=eeMZG&refRID=1Z306D2ENTRJZ4SGSDJM&th=1

I've never built a computer so is something like this good for gaming/me? Is the price worth it? Does anyone have a good list of parts they would use to build there own for 1000-1200? Im an absolute idiot when it comes to computers. Thanks in advance bros.

What's the best OS for someone new to server OS's? I have been using winblows 7 and sharing drives over the network and want to change it up. Should I go with server 2012 or try linux, maybe debian? Main use is file sharing and media server, maybe a webserver.

Hey /g/, I was building a 1000$ >gaming and heavy-duty content production PC and I was thinking about choosing a Ryzen or an Intel processor.

Ryzen 5 1500X and i5-7500 to be exact. I heard Ryzen is far better than the i5 when it comes to content producing. Is that true? If so, how -much-?
If I want to play current games (BF1, Overwatch) on Ultra, Full HD, 60FPS and do some ocassional work in Unreal Engine is the i5 good enough? Or is the Ryzen far better than the i5, and the slight performance downgrade in games is indistinguishable?

>>
>>60889818
1500X will beat the i5-7500 hands down. Although if you're really looking for content production you might want to move up to the 1600 or 1600X as they have 6 cores 12 threads.

If I leave my PC idling on the desktop for ten minutes or so the cursor become really slow and unresponsive.
It's happened ever since I updated to win10 and i've searched for a fix and tried everything I found but no luck yet.
Anyone feel they can shed some light on this, it's bloody annoying.
No i'm not going to install linux instead, this is a dual boot system, issue only exists in windows.

Disable mouse acceleration and USB selective suspend. Also go to device manager then your mouse properties and untick the box under power options
>>
>>60889654
I've tried all that.

I've tried everything I can think of and everything the internet suggests

disabling acceleration
disabling selective suspend
disabling cortana
disabling realtek
it's a wired mouse so it isn't a battery issue

It works fine on boot and as long I keep using it.
If I load a game and play that with either a mouse or a controller for hours there are no problems even when switching back to desktop.

It's only when i leave the computer for ten minutes or longer doing nothing and then when i come back the mouse take ages to register an input.

mac has no programs

Picked up a T430s for next to nothing, and I wanted to throw an AC wifi card in it. Can't seem to find a whitelisted BIOS though. I know you have to hardware flash it, that's no problem for me, just need the actual image. How do I go about making one?

My layman speculation is that general AI is not inevitable, and may not be possible at all. There seems to be something fundamentally different about the workings of our meat brains and the workings of silicon constructs.

Hey /g/, I hope this is the right place. If not, please redirect me.

I have a project where I need to take a command from the internet (think, someone pushes a button on a specific Web page), then use webhooks to get a raspberry pi zero-w to activate a gpio pin. So I downloaded the Prota Pi OS thinking that would make it easy. Turns out I can't even get the prota OS to work on the pi zero. I burned the image to the SD card, plugged it all together, and I don't even get an indication that the R Pi is working. Ie, no video on hdmi, no AP showing up on wifi, no nothing. I tried plugging a couple of different wifi dongles in, just in case the built in wifi wasn't working for some reason, but I just can't seem to get anything to happen. Is my pi busted out of the box? Am I just an idiot missing an obvious but critical step?

Does anyone have experience using prota OS on a raspberry pi zero? Any suggestions on how to access a webhook with a different OS and get it to activate gpios? Sorry for my ignorance, but we all need to start somewhere.
