In fantasy worlds with magic, magic tends to follow laws like 'energy can't be created or destroyed' and that one needs great amounts of knowledge to master it.
Now imagine if magic was discovered in the real world, it would have a rocky start with people figuring things out, it would get corporate, and knowledge would build off of knowledge to create more complex systems.
Isn't that just what electricity is? So being a programmer/electrical engineer is being a wizard.

I think you may be retarded.
Though I won't help you with piracy, you really should have $100 (Home) or $200 (Pro) handy for something you use every day for years.

if you happen to have an old pc with oem windows 7, wipe its hdd and use the oem licence with a fresh windows 10 installation. It worked with my old netbook's licence and it was for windows 7 starter edition.

Kinda?

It's a cost-saving measure that steals work from electricians and moves it to IT technicians.

So let's settle this once for all.
What do true engineers use? Snake_case or CamelCase?

IMO all the great engineers use Python and Python is used for stuff, not for gaymes like BabbyScript

I use C case.
None of my variable names go past 8 characters and they're all short and succinct because I don't use auto-complete in my editor.
>>
>>60929659
Depends on the language for me, in C# I do snake for constants, camel for private, and
WhateverThisIsCalled
for public.
>>
>>60929821
Snake case for Python and constants, camel case for everything else.

Just stay on console, PC isn't that much worth it for gaming... otherwise forget gaming, get an x220/x230 and install arch or debian or something.

PSA to the less informed, don't be distraught by the Intel Skylake-X benchmarks, the platform is brand new and BIOS updates will fix the performance, there's is no reason to fear, Skylake-X is comfortably ahead of Ryzen and Broadwell-E in performance.

If you're concerned about power consumption, don't be, when you look at it, it's only a few lightbulbs worth of power, completely meaningless, in the first place the whole power consumption meme was never important, it was only pushed as an agenda by a third party with an interest.

Anyone buying this platform will not regret it, mark my words.

because I don't use shitty thermal paste that dries out and stops working in 6-8 months

AS5 works fine for years, and probably indefinitely, as long as you don't remove the heatsink.

I prefer XFCE but MATE is pretty good. I'd say it's my second favorite DE. Ubuntu is a steaming trash though. The only non-meme distros are Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, RHEL, and maybe Void if you're looking for non-systemd init system and a good package manager. Other than those, it's all outdated operating systems meant for embedded/server use, and hobbyist systems that break every day.

Hey /g/ I've been looking for a new mouse to use for my laptop (mostly Maya 3D, photoshop, etc.). I need something with good precision and that you would recommend.

I would really really really appreciate if you could make it a bluetooth one (if possible), because my usb ports are all used up (drawing tablets, and other stuff). I don't want to get a usb hub unless I absolutely needed (which is why I'm asking you guys for help)

Been thinking of pic related, but not sure how well it performs under bluetooth. What are my options?
